Alexander's POV
The Blackwood Mansion field had never looked this beautiful.
White roses lined both sides of the aisle, their fragrance carried gently by the morning breeze. Crystal lanterns hung beneath the white floral arches, catching the sunlight and scattering tiny reflections across the marble pathway.
Rows of ivory chairs stretched neatly across the vast lawn, while elegant white drapes danced gently with the wind.
The same mansion where our marriage was arranged...
Had now become the place where I would finally give Alicia the wedding she truly deserved.
I stood beneath the flower-covered altar, adjusting the sleeve of my black suit for what felt like the hundredth time.
"You're making me nervous just looking at you."
Raphael's amused voice came from beside me.
I glanced at him.
"I didn't know Chairman Blackwood could actually get nervous."
"I'm not."
He laughed.
"Sure."
"You've only checked your watch six times in the last two minutes."
