The next time Jensen opened his eyes, he was laid down on the grassy ground with the lady lying on his chest.
He had also fallen asleep after throwing a blanket over themselves last night.
Although he wasn't physically tired yesterday the same could not be said about mental exhaustion.
After spending weeks dying and regenerating without rest, he was tired, even with the little rest he had before the bloodline infusion.
But the infusion was painful to say the least.
It was now the next morning, at this point he wasn't even sure why they hadn't been attacked through the night.
Just as he was thinking the lady in his arms stirred and opened her eyes.
"Yesterday was incredible," She said as she yawned.
"Yes, it was." Jensen agreed.
"Soooo..."
"What's your name?" They both asked at the same time.
"My name is Jensen," Jensen answered first.
"My name is Evangelina," She told him as she sat up and pulled out several clothes from her spatial ring.
"From?" Jensen inquired.
"I… Thank you for helping me but..." She paused, took a deep breath before saying, "I can't tell you… Just forget that these happened."
Jensen chuckled before asking, "If so, then why did you tell me your name?"
"It would have been rude not to. And don't search for me after today. It should be as though we had never met."
Jensen smiled "Are you sure about that?"
Evangelina allowed a sigh "I have a fiancé and if his or my family knows about this, you could lose your life."
Jensen did not keep pressing her, although it seemed like they were all alone, he could feel someone else's eyes on him.
Although he couldn't tell the person's position, he knew they were there and he knew who it was.
The Level 4.
'Looks like my gamble work.' He thought as he stood up as well and pulled out his own clothes.
Once he was done, he gave her a peck on her cheek causing her to blush and he dashed off.

Jensen moved quietly through the forest, stepping over roots and fallen leaves as he followed the faint trail of the beast he had been tracking.
He had finally decided to hunt a Level 2 beast, hunting Level 1s had honestly become too easy.
More times than not he would try out his Mind Skills on them than actually fight them besides he wanted to try how effective Level 2 blood would be compared to Level 1.
The deeper he went, the quieter the forest became. Even the wind seemed to slow between the tall trees.
Just as he reached the area where the beast should have been, Jensen suddenly stopped.
The smell hit him first, something he would recognise anywhere.
Blood and a lot of it too.
His eyes narrowed as he slowly stepped forward, the ground ahead of him was filled with bodies, burn marks, broken weapons and torn earth.
A battlefield.
Jensen carefully walked closer, scanning everything around him.
Three bodies stood out immediately.
They were Level 2s.
Around them were more than thirty Level 1 corpses scattered across the ground.
'This battle just ended not long ago,' Jensen thought as he crouched beside one of the bodies and looked at the blood leaking from it unto the ground.
His Blood Storage ability was already close to full, if he wanted to absorb more blood, he had to make space first.
Without hesitation, Jensen released most of the blood he had stored.
The invisible storage inside his body emptied, the energy dispersing into the air.
Then he activated his ability again.
"Blood Absorption."
Streams of blood slowly rose from the three Level 2 corpses and flowed into his body.
The feeling was just as satisfying as the first time he used the ability.
'No, it feels so much better.' Jensen closed his eyes for a moment as he focused on the sensation.
But he didn't get greedy. Level 2 blood took much more space than Level 1 blood.
Once he was done, he immediately began searching the bodies.
'Level 2s should definitely have spatial rings.' Jensen thought but after checking all three corpses, he found nothing.
He frowned. "That's strange…"
He stood up and looked at the bodies more carefully.
Then he saw it… a tattoo on the forearm of one of the corpses.
The tattoo was two simple letters.
XR
Jensen immediately recognized it.
"The XR gang…" His eyes grew colder.
In Oakland Town, he had run small drug deliveries for them although they paid him, they weren't exactly fair not to mention the money never stayed with him, his father always took it.
The XR gang was one of the biggest criminal groups in Oakland Town. Their members were easy to recognize because of the XR tattoo on their forearms.
But when Jensen turned to the other bodies, he noticed something else.
On their clothes was a cedar tree emblem.
"The Uesugi Clan."
He recognized that symbol too.
The Uesugi Clan was a well-known cultivation family in Oakland Town.
Jensen slowly looked around the battlefield again, it didn't take a genius to understand what happened here.
"The XR gang ambushed them," Jensen murmured.
He stood still for a moment, thinking, then something else clicked.
"No spatial rings…"
His eyes narrowed. 'Someone survived.'
Jensen closed his eyes, took a deep breath and he focused on his senses.
The forest became quiet around him, he tunned out the sound of the wind and birds as well as other typical forest noise.
This was one of the skills required to use super senses otherwise the senses would be overloaded by all the sensations and sounds.
"There." Jensen opened his eyes and immediately moved in that direction.
Thanks to his vampyre senses, tracking the survivor was not difficult.
It only took a few minutes before he spotted the man.
The survivor was slowly moving through the forest, barely able to stand.
His clothes were torn and blood covered his body, his breathing was uneven and he had to walk with the help of a stick.
Jensen immediately recognized him.
Daisaku Uesugi.
His eyes widened slightly.
Daisaku Uesugi was not just any Peak Level 2, but he was the Patriarch of the Uesugi Clan.
Not to mention he was rumoured to be one of the strongest Level 2s in Oakland Town and the three dead Level 2 corpses proved it.
Yet now he looked like he could collapse at any moment.
The old man limped forward, leaving faint blood stains on the ground behind him.
Jensen kept watching him silently from the shadows. 'He is dying.'
Even if he somehow escaped the forest, his injuries were too severe, and he would most likely be dead in a few days anyway.
However, Jensen still did not reveal himself, instead he followed quietly, staying hidden between the trees.
Jensen did not bother thinking too much because he already knew what he was going to do, he just didn't want to get into a pointless fight.
In fact, he had already started calculating his score from this theft.
After several minutes, Daisaku's movements slowed even more.
Finally, the old man stumbled before he collapsed onto the ground.
Jensen stopped behind a tree and watched carefully for a few minutes checking to make sure Daisaku did not move.
Jensen waited another moment.
Then he slowly stepped out of the shadows and began walking toward the fallen man.
*Step* *Step* *Step*
The closer he got, the more something started to feel wrong.
His instincts suddenly screamed at him.
'Danger.'
Jensen's eyes widened, without thinking, he jumped backwards.
At that exact moment, the supposedly unconscious Daisaku suddenly moved.
A blade flashed through the air where Jensen had been standing just a second earlier.
The attack sliced through empty space.
Daisaku slowly pushed himself up from the ground, breathing heavily.
His sharp eyes locked onto Jensen.
"So," the old man said coldly, "it is you who has been following me."
Jensen stared at him from several meters away.
He glanced down and stared at his ripped clothes, although he had managed to escape most of the attack, he had been too close to avoid it completely.
