NEXT DAY:
Jay's POV:
Jane and I entered the classroom and Section E were speaking over each other, which was odd. It isn't odd of them speaking over each other. It is odd that they are in serious chatters and not in teasing chatter. I looked at Jane and at the same time Jane looked to me. We knew something wasn't right and honestly, I had that feeling, since yesterday night and my gut feeling is usually right. I asked
Jay: What happened? Why are you looking so serious??
Felix: Haven't you heard??
Jane: Heard what??
Drew: There is a new transfer student coming today
Jay: Really?? I hope the transfer student is cool! Why are you so serious though??
Ci-n: Because some say that the transfer student is a female!
Jane: So?? That is even better for us! We won't be surrounded by boys and Jay and I will have a new female friend!!
Eman: But it can also be problematic!
Jay: Jane and I are here and look at us. We are happy! Maybe the girl is also nice!
The Section nodded in agreement.
Jane: Don't judge the book by its cover. It will probably be fine!
The Section E exhaled in relief. Jane and I smiled and sat in our seats, but that feeling was returning in my gut. That twisting feeling in my stomach, that makes me want to puke and makes it hard for me to breathe. The same feeling, when Keifer got attacked at midnight, the same feeling when Section E was getting kidnapped and the same feeling when Papa died. It is probably nothing, right? Before I could overthink it, Keifer put hand on my shaking leg.
Keifer: What is wrong, darling? Are you ok?
I forced myself a smile and said, unwilling to worry him
Jay: I am fine
Keifer: You know, you can talk to me, right?
Jay: I know. It is just silly
Keifer: What is?
I sighed.
Jay: I have that feeling again. The feeling, when something is about to go wrong
Keifer: Nothing will go wrong and even if it will we will fix it together.
Jay: You promise?
Keifer: I promise
That made me feel a bit better and in that moment the door opened. Sir Alvin entered the classroom and behind him came a female student. She was gorgeous. She had blond hair, green eyes, small glossy lips, thin nose, defined eyebrows and long eyelashes. She had makeup on, but it was really minimal. She looked too innocent, nervous, even a bit helpless?? I don't know. But my gut feeling got stronger by the second. She didn't feel right to me. I don't know why, but I have the feeling that I will find that out very soon. She was standing in front of the chalk board, where Jane and I once stood, while Sir Alvin was sorting documents. She started looking around the classroom, like she was analysing us, then her vision stopped at me. Her expression looked much colder and angrier, when her gaze landed on me. Her hardening expression was barely visible, but I noticed it and it didn't seem like I was the only one, who noticed it. I looked over at Keifer. He looked confused and I could see from his face that he didn't like one bit, that she looked at me like that. Then I looked over at Jane and Yuri. They looked confused as well and didn't like the way she looked at me. Still, I smiled a polite smile and her lip twitched. Not in an amused smile or something like that. It felt like a mocking smile, maybe even a triumphant smirk, but I didn't think much of it. Her gaze wandered over to Jane and the same expression was on her face, just a bit nicer? I guess?! Did I do something wrong to her? Why does she look a bit familiar?? It is like I have seen her before, but I don't know when! After that she looked at Keifer and her hardening expression completely vanished. She looked so eager, excited and happy. It was almost like she was day dreaming. My stomach twisted in annoyance and maybe jealousy, but there was something else as well. Like my stomach was telling me that there is danger. I ignored the feeling, because Keifer was ignoring her and it honestly calmed me down a bit. I don't like her one bit!
Sir Alvin: Ms, Wilkins, you can introduce yourself
Ohhh, so she is a Wilkins! I heard the Wilkins were known for their kindness and their honesty. Maybe she won't be that bad. Maybe I am paranoid. She formed an easy smile and began introducing herself
Tiffany: Hello, my name is Tiffany Valentino Wilkins. I am 17 years old and I have a twin brother. I hope to get to know you all better and for us to get along.
Oh, so she also has a twin. We might get along!
Sir Alvin: President and Vice President. Do you have any questions?
Keifer and Yuri looked at each other. The both of them shook their heads and answered at the same time
Keifer and Yuri: No, Sir!
Sir Alvin: Really?? No insults?? Aww, I was ready to scold you both again! Jay and Jane must have taught you a lesson!
The class laughed and Jane and I chuckled. I looked over to Tiffany and her face became red and her expression became slightly colder. I ignored her and looked over at Keifer, whose face was also red. But I think he was either blushing or it was out of embarrassment. I think he was blushing.
Jay: Look, guys!! The kings are blushing!!!
Section E looked at them and laughed again.
Drew: The great Mark Keifer Watson and the great Yuri Hanamichi are blushing??!!
Felix: OMG!!! Put this in history books everyone!!!!
Ci-n: Already on it!!!
David: Ci-n, you are writing it on your hand!
Ci-n: Well, this is my history book now!!!
The class laughed and Tiffany looked like she was forcing a laugh. I looked over to Keifer and he just buried his face in his arms and was groaning like he regrets all his life choices. Honestly, he looked adorable, so I cupped his face in my hands and peppered his entire face with small & wet kisses. He just laughed and asked me
Keifer (laughs in between): Jay, stop!! It tickles!!
I gave him a few more kisses and then let his face go
Jay: There now we are both embarrassed!
Keifer smiled and kissed my cheek. I felt my cheeks heating up. Section E burst out in laughter and started chanting
Section E: JAYFER!!! JAYFER!!! JAYFER!!!
Author's POV:
All of them were having fun teasing Jayfer, unaware that this might be the last time they will have genuine fun. Nobody saw the "innocent" new transfer student boiling with rage, because she believes that someone stole her from someone who is supposed to be hers.
