Jay's POV:
Today is Halloween!!!!! Ci-n insisted on going on a Halloween party with Jane and I and successfully convinced us. Rose also said that she won't be coming today to clean, since she is busy. She is probably busy with her cousin or something. I went downstairs and made breakfast, because I have to cook on the weekends and on the holidays. I made breakfast and called Jane downstairs. She ran down the stairs and immediately said
Jane: I won't be able to come with you and Ci-n. Yuri wants me to come with Kiano
Jay: Ugh, fine! I will handle the kid alone. Have a nice time on the date of yours!!!
Jane rolled her eyes playfully and said: Shut up!
I laughed and we talked about many things. After that we watched a Halloween movie with the blinds down, since we still had time to go. In between the movie, I used to jump scare her and she always screamed, which made me laugh. Well, in retaliation smacked my arm, but it was worth it. We enjoyed the movie and then we went to go get ready for our parties. When we got ready, we went into separate cars and I drove to the location Ci-n texted me. I reached the location, that he sent me and parked my car. When I left my car, I saw something flash before my eyes and hug me tightly. I looked down and it was Ci-n
Jay: Ci-n, I can't breathe!
Seriously, how fast is he??!!! He is probably faster than the flash as this point! Ci-n pulled out of the hug and immediately apologized.
Ci-n: Sorry! Now, let's go inside!
He took my hand and dragged me inside. When I went inside, I only saw kids playing there. Seriously?? He bought me to a kid's place! He is probably in the wrong place
Jay: Ci-n, I think we are in the wrong place, Ci-n
Ci-n: No, we are in the right place
Jay: Ci-n, this is a kid's place!
Ci-n: But I am 14 and I just have this year to enjoy then I am officially not invited to kid Halloween parties anymore. And anyways, the adult Halloween parties are boring! You don't even get any candies!
I sighed and said: Fine, enjoy!
Ci-n: Yes! You are the best, ate!!
That statement made me smile. I was trying to find somewhere to sit, when some kid bumped into me. I looked down at the kid to apologize and to ask if the kid got hurt. When I looked down, I saw Kieren on the ground. I bumped into Kieren?!!! Uff! I lifted Kieren off his feet and faced him toward me. I crouched down to his eye level and apologized to him
Jay: Sorry, Kieren! Are you okay? Did you get hurt?
Kieren: I am fine, Ate! What are you doing here?
Jay: Ci-n tricked me to go to this party and to "babysit" him
Kieren: That doesn't sound fun!
Jay: Kieren, are you alone here?
Kieren: No, kuya Keifer is here as well, but he just went to park his car.
Jay: Why did he come with you?
Kieren (rubbed the back of his neck): I might have tricked him to coming here
I squeezed his cheeks and ruffled his hair
Jay: You are mischievous!
Kieren laughed and said
Kieren: Bye, ate! My friends are playing there. I want to go play with them!
Jay: Ok, bye Kieren!
And then he ran away to play with his friends. I still was searching somewhere to sit. When, I bumped into someone again. Seriously?? I should have a bumping magnet with me or something!!! Why am I bumping into someone every 5 minutes. I was preparing to apologize again, when I looked up and I saw Keifer smirking. I smacked his arm and said
Jay: Keiferrr!!! Why are you standing in my way?!
Keifer: Excuse me, you bumped into me
Jay: I bumped into you, because you were in the way
Keifer chuckled and said
Keifer: Whatever you say!
I rolled my eyes playfully
Keifer: What are you doing here?
Jay: Ci-n tricked me into coming here and practically dragged me here
Keifer: Well, same with me
Jay: I know, Kieren already told me
Keifer: Oh, so you already met Kieren
Jay: Yeah, I bumped into him
Keifer: You are bumping into everyone today
Jay: I know! That is nothing new!!
Keifer chuckled and in that moment Ci-n hid behind me
Jay: Ci-n! What are you doing??
In that moment a man with a Halloween basket and a little girl approached us.
The man: Hey kid!!! You stole my niece's candy!!
Ci-n just stuck out his tongue. Is he ok??? The audacity!!!
Jay: Sorry, po! Ci-n, give back her candy! It is not right!
Ci-n reluctantly gave the candy to me and I put it in the girl's basket. I crouched down and I also squeezed the girl's cheeks.
Jay: Hi, little girl. Sorry, that this idiot stole your candy. It won't happen again, ok?
The little girl nodded cutely.
Jay: Aww, so adorable
I stood up and apologized to the man. But then he started grinning
The man: I will forget it, if you go on a date with me
THIS IDIOT!!! I ALREADY HAVE A BOYFRIEND!!! What is wrong with him??? I was about to calmly say to him, that that isn't possible, but Keifer had other plans. He stood beside me and held my hand gently but firmly. I could feel the possessiveness radiate from him. Shoot! He is jealous!! But he calmly said
Keifer: Sir, that is not possible
The man: Why? Are you his brother??
Keifer: No, I am much worse than that!
The man: I was talking to her *pointing at me*!!
The man turned to me and asked
The man: He isn't anything to you, right??
Jay: Actually, sir-
I got caught off by Keifer and he said
Keifer: She is my wife!!
The man looked shocked and just went away with his niece. I looked at Keifer surprised. His chest was heaving with fury. I really didn't expect him to call me wife in public!!! I looked next to Keifer and I saw Ci-n still standing there. Shoot!! He won't stop teasing me now!!! But right now Ci-n looked shocked as well and just looked between Keifer and I and asked the dumbest question, I have ever heard!!
Ci-n: When did you get married?
I smacked the back of Ci-n head
Jay: He wanted to scare the guy away, Ci-n!! I am not married to him!!
Keifer added: yet!
I glared at Keifer and turned to Ci-n, who had now gone off to play with Kieren.
Jay: Why did you call me your husband? You could have just called me your girlfriend! It was statement enough!!
Keifer: Well, then he wouldn't have backed off so easily
Jay: He still would have backed off!
Keifer just pointed to that man, who was trying to flirt with the lady. Even though she had a guy with him, who looked like her boyfriend. The boyfriend said
The boyfriend: We are a couple
But the same man didn't back off! He was right!! He wouldn't have backed off.
Keifer: See! That is why you always listen to your husband!!
I rolled my eyes, but I smiled despite myself.
