Rose's POV:
We entered the huge restaurant. The ambiance was really nice and the staff was genuinely nice. I instantly liked the restaurant. We all ordered, what we wanted and everyone erupted into teasing chatter. I joined, whenever I wanted and it was honestly hilarious, but I wanted some fresh air. Since I was sitting on the outside, I could leave easier. I asked the staff, if they have a roof top and surprisingly, they did have one. So, I went to the roof top and enjoyed the view from there. The cold breeze brushed through my brown hair and refreshed me immediately. The stars sparkled a beautiful silver and the moon was a crescent tonight. I sat on a chair and enjoyed everything. Then I heard footsteps behind me. I frowned. Who was it? Why are they here?? I turned around and saw Felix standing a few meters away from me. What is Felix doing here??
Rose: Felix, what are you doing here?
Felix: I could ask you the same thing
I rolled my eyes playfully and said
Rose: I just wanted fresh air
Felix: You just want to escape noise
Rose: same thing
Felix chuckled.
Felix: Sure. Whatever helps you sleep at night
Rose: Now, why are you here? I answered your question
Felix rubbed the back of his neck and answered: I just wanted to see the stars. I didn't know, I would be seeing you here.
I knew he was lying, but I didn't push him for the truth. I am a human lie detector, but not a rude one!! He grabbed a chair and sat down.
Rose: Why are you sitting so far away? I am not a lion, if you are wondering
He laughed a small laugh.
Felix: You might as well be
I laughed
Rose: Well, the lion has escaped the cage
Felix: Good to know. Now I won't be called blind and uneducated
Rose: Well, you still are
Felix: Rude!
I chuckled and said
Rose: Ok, sorry sorry!!

I rolled my eyes, but I couldn't hide my smile and Felix smiled a gentle smile. Somehow, I think that I knew him before Ate Jay and Jane introduced him to me. He looks familiar, but I can't put my finger on it. I must have narrowed my eyes, because Felix noticed and asked

Rose: How old is your sister?
Felix: She is 8
Rose: She is probably better in reading than you are!
Felix laughed and I smiled. Good! He deserved to smile after that
Rose: Jay said, that you like basketball. How come?
Felix: My brother and I always used to watch Basketball, when we were kids and started acting like basketball players for fun. When he passed, I just played it to calm myself and to handle the grief.
Rose: Why didn't you tell anyone?
Felix: Who could I have told it to? My father and my mother got a divorce after his death and my father just drinks Alcohol till he doesn't feel anything anymore. My mother is working hard to earn money for us and to give us the best possible life. My sister is too young to understand and I have to take care of her. I just don't want to be a burden on someone, so I handle everything myself.
God! Why did he have to go through so much? I want to cry for him. He always hides behind jokes and laughter, that nobody sees his pain. I blinked away my tears that was welling up in my eyes and wiped his few tears, that escaped while telling his story, away.
Felix: Sorry
I frowned.
Rose: For what?
Felix: I shouldn't have burdened you with all of that
Rose: You didn't burden me. You just shared your deepest part of your life to stranger you didn't even know
Felix: You don't feel like a stranger to me
Rose: Now enough emotional talk! You will break my heart with all of your sadness one day
Felix laughed a watery small laugh
Rose: I bet your sister is adorable! Show me a picture of her
Felix: Yeah, she is
He showed me some pictures of his sister and I immediately asked
Rose: Does she go to the Applewood elementary school?
Felix: Yeah, how do you know that?
Rose: My cousin goes there. His name is Ethan Parker
Felix: Wait, that is the guy, she always talked about!
I laughed.
Rose: My cousin talks about her a lot!! I always tease him of having a crush on her, but he never admits anything!
Felix: I do the same thing! But I know she has one on him! Her eyes always sparkle. It is disgustingly cute!
Rose: I know right!!
Felix: But I swear if your cousin hurts my sister, I will bury him alive!
Rose: Well, you will have to wait in line!
Felix chuckled and said: Fine by me
After that we walked back downstairs and saw everyone still talking. When we approached the table, everyone went silent.
Jay: Where were you???
Rose: I was on the roof top. I needed some air
Jay: How much air do you need??? You have been up there for half an hour!!
Rose: Has the food come yet?
Jane: It will come in a few minutes
Rose: Well, what's the problem. I still get the food!!

Felix: I went to the bathroom and then I lost my way

Felix: Drew, there is a thing called Pumpkin allergy
Drew: When did you eat pumpkins?
Felix: The soap contained pumpkins, Drew!

Section E laughed again and Felix winked. That idiot winked???!!! The audacity!! After that the food got served and we happily enjoyed the meal, while teasing everyone and talking about random topics.
