Coined by Hesthemazine, the God of Pioneering, Pioneering and adventuring are essentially the same words, often used interchangeably in conversation.
In essence, Pioneering refers to the line of work wherein Pioneers—individuals with the drive to explore Rynth and unearth new discoveries—explore that wanderlust. It has no concrete definition, for anyone who seeks to journey outside of their homes and have the road accompany them are already labeled as such. The official title requires approval and identification sanctioned by special Guilds.
As of the Twelfth Cycle, Pioneering has mostly faded into obscurity due to most of Rynth having been explored. However, the soul of adventuring still exists and enters people from time to time, leading to Pioneers periodically forming from all parts of the world.
