Ray and I sat at the pavilion inside the garden. It happened to be a walled pavilion with a heater, so it wasn't too cold despite the temperature outside.
We were drinking tea while waiting for Anok to bring Maya to the pavilion.
I kept glancing at Ray while sipping my tea, wondering what was on his mind. After all, it must've been a shock for him to go home and find that his grandpa had been bewitched by someone like Maya Reed.
"What do you think we should do to her?" Ray suddenly asked, and I almost choked on my tea because of that.
His eyes were focused on the door as he muttered, "Killing her would be really easy. But I know that'd probably give my grandpa a heart attack. He is fooling himself because of depression."
"Unfortunately, there is no medicine for that kind of depression. Because his brain works perfectly despite his old age. Even if I chugged him with a bunch of antidepressants, it still wouldn't work because his scar ran deep for four decades."
