I was trying my best not to cry, because everything was within my expectations. But Ray's proposal truly showed how he felt as a human and as a man.
All this time, what I wanted from him was just for him to show a little bit of his sincere side. I wanted him to love me as much as I loved him, and for him to treat me as his woman.
Perhaps we were both too immature back then, so it didn't work out.
