Ray POV
"Oh? What are you doing here, Ray?"
I glanced at Claudia for a second, but my eyes refused to look away from her. So I slowly turned around to face her with my entire body.
She had a beautiful smile as she asked, "Are you not tired after a long day? Want me to make you some chamomile tea to calm down?"
"..."
I didn't respond at first, because I was busy staring at her.
Sometimes, I thought that I was still stuck in one of my many dreams. Because everything felt so perfect right now.
In those dreams, Claudia would stand in front of me or sit right next to me. We'd embrace each other while doing mundane things, as if we were an old married couple.
I knew that it was pathetic for a man like me to fantasize about his first love, especially the woman who dumped him so harshly.
But I couldn't help it.
Day and night, I kept thinking about her, wishing that we were already married by now with a child of our own. I wished that I could call her "my wife" or "my love."
