I had to admit the conversation about liars made me feel a little uncomfortable, because I was the biggest liar in the room.
I had lied about many things to make sure that everything went according to my plan. Even Claudia didn't know that I was indirectly involved with everything that went wrong in her life.
But she didn't need to know, neither did Aurora.
"Then, you shouldn't lie too, Mommy!" Aurora said. She looked at me for a while and asked, "Mommy, do you think that Uncle Ray is very handsome? He's like, uhm… he's like a prince from the books that I read!"
Right at that moment, I witnessed how Claudia's face turned cherry red, as if she had switched color entirely. I was about to burst out laughing seeing her reaction and also at Aurora's brave question.
