Claudia POV
Anok looked dazzling as ever. I had picked up her habit of wearing pink, like a Barbie doll. Even if she didn't wear a pink dress, any of her accessories would have pink in them.
Just like today, she was wearing a black blouse and a brown pencil skirt, but her Louboutins were dark pink.
"Good morning, Anok. Looking good as always," I wanted to get closer to her, but Ray held my hand, which was still wrapped around his arm.
"Remember to stick close to me no matter what, Claudia," he whispered, and that single sentence was enough to root me in place once again.
Thankfully, Anok took the initiative to go down and stood right in front of us.
She raised her brow, looking at my hand around his arm. "It's early in the morning, and you two are already sticky. Is this really the power of what one passionate night can do?"
"A-Anok—"
"Yes," Ray replied confidently, which caught me off guard that I couldn't help but grip his arm as tightly as possible to warn him.
