Leon approached the bodies of the two warriors still standing upright, and his aura and presence gradually began returning to a normal level. The dangerous atmosphere that had blanketed the entire region slowly faded away until the others could breathe somewhat more easily once again.
Leon stopped before the two men who had lost their lives yet still remained standing in place, preserving their determination even in death.
He spoke in a quiet voice filled with genuine respect.
"It was a pleasure knowing you, heroes."
Then he raised his hand, and the ground throughout the area began to tremble violently around the wooden giant.
The rocks, soil, trees, and the dense forest that Ishin had summoned with Mokuton during their battle all began gathering around the wooden giant with remarkable precision. They converged from every direction and surrounded it from all sides, forming a massive mountain shaped like a perfectly sealed dome around it until the bodies of both patriarchs disappeared completely within it.
Then Leon walked out from the center of the mountain through a narrow passage he opened for himself. As he moved forward, the passage slowly closed behind him until no openings or pathways remained.
He then spoke in a loud voice that spread across every corner of this continent, allowing everyone to hear him with perfect clarity.
"From this day onward, this mountain shall be regarded as the grave of two heroes who rest within it in peace. Disturbing them or interfering with this grave in any way within this region is strictly forbidden. The Lone Wolves shall guard it and preserve its peace forever."
Shock and grief collided within everyone who heard those final words. Every person who heard that voice, especially those living in distant lands and regions, could not understand its source or exactly what it meant.
In some remote areas, people even believed it to be a revelation from higher beings or perhaps from the spiritual creatures they worshipped, and many had no idea where the voice had originated.
The only people who truly understood the meaning behind the declaration were those present at the legendary battlefield itself, particularly the members of the Uchiha and Senju groups, who stood staring at the enormous mountain-shaped tomb that now contained the remains of the patriarchs of their clans.
Many of them began crying silently.
They cried from the sorrow of losing their leaders.
They cried from the humiliation of being unable to do anything except watch.
And they cried from the helplessness they felt now.
Then Leon raised his head and looked upward.
His gaze pierced through layers of dimensions until it reached the place where the Sage of Six Paths, Hagoromo, stood.
Hagoromo was shocked that the young man had discovered him as though no distance or dimensional barrier existed between them. This increased his fear of the Walt family even further, and he began seriously considering whether he should take action against them before they became an unsolvable problem.
However, he quickly abandoned that thought when he sensed the chakra of his sons, Asura and Indra, leaving the bodies of Hiroshi and Ishin and moving on toward future vessels.
In truth, he had genuinely feared that Dan or his son might interfere and negatively affect his plans by destroying his sons' chakra or sealing it away somehow.
But it seemed that Leon had absolutely no interest in that matter.
This was yet another sign telling him that whatever Dan was planning did not conflict with his own goals, at least for now.
Then Leon disappeared from his location and reappeared before the siblings who had come to watch the battle.
Sam smiled when he saw him and said lightly,
"Your battle ended faster than I expected."
Leon chuckled softly as he stood among them.
"They were powerful opponents, and they forced me to release a considerable portion of my strength to give them an honorable ending."
In truth, the plan Dan had proposed to Leon was to allow Hiroshi and Ishin to die and permit the chakra of Hagoromo's sons to pass on. However, that was only one part of the plan, and its full results would not appear until many years from now.
It was merely one piece within the broader framework of what Dan intended to accomplish on this planet in the future, a scheme stretching across centuries and involving things known only to him at this time.
Sam looked at his brother and said,
"It seems Father wants you in the laboratory."
Leon nodded and replied,
"Alright."
The battle had ended, but its consequences would continue for years to come, shaping the future history of this world in ways that, for now, only Dan himself truly understood.
