[You have completed a total of 94,034,983,923,124,342 hidden missions in the past 20 years. Plus, you get one Omni-Starter Pack. I recommend you use this quickly to get something to save you.] The system said, and without wasting a second, I opened the Omnipotence Starter Pack.
[You have gained the Heretic God's Profound Veins. Heavenly Lightning Bloodline, Ultra Instinct, and Venuzdonoa.]
[Due to the ability, Supreme Talent, all gains have evolved.
The Heretic God's Profound Veins → The Heretic God King Profound Veins.
Heavenly Lightning Bloodline → The Supreme Heavenly Lightning Bloodline.
Ultra Instinct → Absolute Ultra Instinct.
Venuzdonoa → Removed the weakness of having to summon the Demon King Castle Delsgade.]
'Nice... alright, let's get the Heretic God's Perfound Veins. If it would take long and it would hurt, use one of the rewards to make it instant and painless.' I said calmly. With over thirty-four quadrillion hidden rewards sitting there waiting for me, I honestly doubted I would ever use everything, even if I lived for the full nine hundred and ninety-nine trillion years.
By the way, the skill Omnipotent Talent had been nerfed down to Supreme Talent, but it wasn't a permanent downgrade—it could get back to what I originally asked for. It was just up to me to train and master the ability, pushing it past its current limits until it returned to its true form as Omnipotent Talent.
[Done.] The system said, and instantly, I felt my body go through a massive transformation from the inside out. Bones cracked and reformed, muscles tightened and rebuilt themselves, and energy I had never felt before in my entire life surged through every fiber of my being.
I let out a heavy breath as I opened my eyes and found Rosa sitting on top of me, her arms wrapped around my torso, hugging me tightly. Her body was trembling—not from the cold, but from the sheer relief that I was still alive.
"It's okay, you're going to miss your flight at this rate," I said with a relaxed smile, keeping my voice light and casual even though every part of me wanted this woman as far away from me as possible. She had literally stabbed me through the chest not even ten minutes ago.
"B-but you're…" Rosa didn't know what to say. Her words caught in her throat, and before she could finish the sentence, she started crying—not the quiet kind, but the ugly, messy kind where her whole body shook with it. I sighed at the sight and pulled her into a hug, letting her bury her face against my shoulder.
"I was a cripple… but you just healed me, and gave me a new life. For that, I'm grateful." I said with a smile, and Rosa's tear-filled eyes widened for a moment. But I didn't give her a chance to say anything, leaning in and kissing her before she could spiral any deeper into guilt.
"You gave me a new life. Take it as if you killed the old me and gave me a better one," I said with a charming smile. She blinked at me, processing the words, and then nodded weakly, wiping the tears from her cheeks with the back of her hand.
She climbed off of me and started getting dressed, while I… well, she had destroyed my clothing earlier when she ripped them off, so I was stuck sitting there with nothing but shredded fabric in my lap.
"I'm a demon…" She said softly, not as a statement, but as a question—like she was testing whether or not those words would change the way I looked at her.
"I know, and it doesn't change anything. As I said, I would go to war with the world for you." I said with a smile, and I could practically hear her heart start racing from where I sat, the rhythm of it pounding so loud that even a normal person could have picked it up.
[It is recommended that the host stop. She is mentally troubled and has a high likelihood of killing the host over the smallest misunderstanding.] The system said, and I paused for a moment.
That was a fair warning—a very fair warning, actually. But then I looked over at her, and she was staring at me with that look of pure, unfiltered love in her eyes, the kind that made you feel like you were the only person in the entire world that mattered.
And then I thought about the sex we just had… and my mind threw the system's words right out the window without a second thought.
'I'll just get so strong that she can't kill me... It's that simple.' I thought with a smile…
Well, we had to drive back to the drop-off zone since we'd left to find that parking lot. Rosa was unwilling to go—she clung to my arm the entire drive back, her grip tight enough that I could feel the reluctance radiating off of her.
But she had matters back home that needed to be taken care of, things she couldn't ignore no matter how much she wanted to. When we pulled up, she leaned over and gave me a deep kiss, one so long and so intense that I nearly passed out from the lack of oxygen. When she finally pulled back, she looked at me with a frown, her brow creasing.
"What?" I asked with a frown of my own, catching my breath. But she shook her head and smiled at me before reaching for the door handle.
"I just find it funny how you're unwilling to kiss me." She said softly, just as she placed one leg out the door, and I was left speechless. I was about faint. I think I needed air… or was I crazy?
"I was running out of breath… how about next time we kiss until I faint," I said, my lips twitching lightly.
"Okay." She said with a bright smile that could have lit up the whole airport. She stepped out, walked over to her bags, and came back to plant one more kiss on me before finally heading toward the entrance.
She kept throwing unwilling glances over her shoulder as she walked, each one more reluctant than the last, clearly not wanting to go. But she had to. She waved goodbye from the doors, and I waved back, making sure to give her a look that said I didn't want her to leave either.
I had to sell that look. If I didn't, she'd call me later and bring up how "funny" it was that I drove off so fast the second she was out of sight. Better safe than dead... I might have to ghost her for a while. I wasn't in the mood to deal with her.
"Alright, system. Why do I have a bloodline listed as a cultivation art for the Supreme Heavenly Lightning Bloodline?" I asked calmly once I was alone, pulling out of the airport and merging back onto the road.
[You're unable to gain bloodline abilities directly; instead, you would gain them in the form of cultivation arts. Abilities and unique skills would be in the form of martial arts, which you have to train until you master them to the point that the technique becomes ingrained into your very being, at which point it would awaken as an actual ability.] The system said, and I couldn't help but pout at that.
So there was no shortcut—I couldn't just absorb a bloodline and become overpowered on the spot. Everything had to be earned through training and mastery.
"Fine, get all of the bloodlines. Zeno Bloodline, Uchiha Bloodline, Franklin Richards Bloodline, Lucifer Morningstar Bloodline, Dream of the Endless Bloodline, Sonic Bloodline, Wally West Bloodline, Anos Bloodline, Thor Odinson Bloodline, Ajimu Najimi, The Soul King, and so on. All of them—give me every bloodline there is, starting from the strongest and moving downwards." I said with a grin that stretched from ear to ear.
And the system did just that. I received every cultivation art for each bloodline, and every single one of them evolved the moment it landed in my hands thanks to Supreme Talent. The sea of cultivation arts I received was staggering—ranging from the Scarlet King, Hajun, the Emperor of Mankind, Alien X, Akuto Sai, The One Above All, The Phoenix Force, The Presence, The Mother of Existence, Featherine, SCP-682, and billions of other cultivation arts that had already evolved beyond their original forms the second I obtained them.
And it wasn't limited to comics and anime either. Cultivation novels were on the list too—Han Jue, Ji Ning, Lin Fan, Xue Ying, Li Qiye, Zhang Xuan, and countless more. Every major figure from every fictional world I could think of, and millions I hadn't even heard of, all converted into cultivation arts that now sat within my reach.
"Alright, go ahead and fuse them all together to birth the ultimate Cultivation Art. The Omnipotent Cultivation Art… Don't forget other cultivation arts as well—things like the Blood Cultivation Art from God of Slaughter, and everything." I said with a smile, leaning back in my seat as the system got to work.
[On it.] The system said.
"Also, try looking into whether you can find any flaws in the cultivation system itself. I can already tell that having this many arts fused together is going to make my rate of breakthrough painfully slow. Might as well improve the entire cultivation framework and build one that's tailored specifically to me." I said with a smile, my fingers tapping against the steering wheel as ideas kept forming one after another.
