At noon the next day, Takayama Gamu looked helplessly at Tamamo Cross. Behind her stood a gray-haired horse girl with a faintly excited look on her face. The two of them had shown up together at the door of his training room, so he asked out of curiosity.
"Trainer Gamu—she's my roommate, Oguri Cap," Tamamo Cross explained.
"Mm… for some special reason, she wants to become Trainer Gamu's trainee too."
The real reason—because the carrots he gave were insanely delicious—was just too embarrassing to say out loud.

Tamamo Cross's lips parted slightly, but nothing came out.
"If Trainer Gamu can make Lil' Tama look like that, he must be a very good trainer," Oguri Cap said with a smile. Then, as if she'd remembered something, she lifted the materials Tamamo Cross had borrowed with Gamu's permission.
"And this is fun to read too."
Oguri Cap flipped to a page, staring with a certain longing at the running silhouette drawn there.
"Everyone in Kasamatsu probably wants to see me run like that too."
"So, Lil' Tama…"
"I want to become Trainer Gamu's trainee too."
"Very welcome." Takayama Gamu nodded.

The only problem was that she was an ash-gray horse girl. In the industry there was a long-standing saying that ash-gray horse girls couldn't run fast—so even though Oguri Cap performed well in training races, no trainer was willing to take her.
But Takayama Gamu was different.
He believed in science.
Hair color couldn't possibly affect speed. It was just prejudice. And the data he'd collected and analyzed wouldn't lie.
"Tamamo Cross starts formal training today," Gamu said. "You can watch my methods in advance. But you still have PE in the afternoon, right? Are you okay skipping lunch break?"
Tamamo Cross and Gaia's trainee relationships had already been approved, so skipping PE in the afternoon wasn't an issue.
"I requested leave."
"I want to train with Lil' Tama," Oguri Cap said matter-of-factly.

Those two sets of athletic clothes were modeled after the XIG team uniform style, mainly in a gray-blue color scheme: short sleeves with knee-length shorts.

"How does it feel?"
"No problems."
"Now 1.6×."
"A bit heavier."
"It feels like we're underwater," Oguri Cap said with curiosity.

"Not as heavy as I imagined."
Tamamo Cross moved her body slightly. The pressure was evenly distributed across every part of her—breathing alone was noticeably harder than outside. But for a body forged by constant training, the strain wasn't unbearable.

But such efficiency came with a drawback:
It was exhausting.
Triple gravity pressed equally on internal organs. The heart had to output several times the force to circulate blood. The air felt thick and stagnant; every breath demanded full effort.
Each lift of the thigh, each swing of the arms, forced horse girls to grit their teeth—enduring the burning build-up of lactic acid—keeping their movements going by sheer will.
To get training results several times better than traditional methods, you had to endure several times the pain.
"Hang in there," Takayama Gamu cheered them on from the side.
