The Whispering Mist Corridor stretched ahead, a narrow path carved into black stone cliffs, shrouded in thick, swirling gray mist that clung to their skin like cold silk. The air hummed with disembodied whispers—faint, malicious voices that seemed to emanate from the mist itself, trying to lure them off the path. Below the corridor, a bottomless chasm gaped, its depths echoing with the roars of unseen monsters.
Kael (Zhu Shen) led the way, his Frostheart Relic pulsing faintly in his inventory—its energy cutting through the mist like a beacon, keeping the whispers at bay. His Frostpierce Dagger glinted with blue light, the Absolute Frost Immunity shielding him from the corridor's frigid bite. "Stay close to the cliff wall," he warned, his voice low. "The mist distorts vision—we don't want anyone falling into the chasm."
Gareth (Shadow) walked beside him, his Froststeel Greatsword unsheathed, his eyes scanning the mist for threats. "Movement—left side, 50 meters out. Multiple targets."
Kael activated [Detection Lv.1], and six red dots materialized on his mini-map—gaunt, humanoid figures with horns and clawed hands, their bodies wreathed in dark-frost energy.

But she was different—her eyes were pitch black, her body surrounded by a swirling aura of dark magic, and her level had spiked to Lv.35 (permanent, not temporary). Behind her stood 15 Crimson Horde elites (Lv.33-34), all clad in Darkfrost gear.
"Zhu Shen," she said, her voice distorted by dark energy. "You're always one step behind. I made a true Dark Pact—with the Abyssal Lord himself. Now, I'm unstoppable."

"The Dark Relic is in there," Yun Feng said, pointing toward the chamber. "Eve will reach the Abyssal Lord before us—we need to move fast."
Gareth nodded, wiping his greatsword clean. "Let's finish this. Once we have the Dark Relic, Eve's Pact won't matter."
Luna handed Kael a Dark Resistance Elixir and an Enhanced Stardust Healing Potion. "Drink these—you'll need them for the Abyssal Lord. I've got enough potions for the fight—we're ready."
Kael stood, gripping his Frostpierce Dagger. The Abyssal Lord, Lv.40 Lord Boss, awaited. Eve was already inside. The Dark Relic was within reach.
He led the team toward the chamber, the Frostheart Relic pulsing in sync with the distant roar of the Abyssal Lord.
The final battle for the Dark Relic had arrived. And Godslayer's Legion was ready to win.
