Chapter 77 - Chapter 77: A garden painted in blood

The golem slammed his hand on the ground, the ground shook for a moment, and after that, multiple spikes emerged from the ground and all went toward the seedlings. There were a lot of spikes, many seedlings were pierced and then their bodies exploded. Allocen didn't even bother defending himself because the golem in front of him took all the remains over his body; after 5 seconds they turned to ash.

Some seedlings were still alive, all of them passed through the gap between the spikes. Their bodies were extremely flexible, so they easily passed even through the smallest space. The golem, ready to take all of them over his body, felt surprised; the seedlings didn't rush toward him, some of them passed through his legs, others went to his sides.

The seedlings didn't want to hit the golem; their main objective was Allocen, who, seeing the seedlings rushing toward him, didn't even flinch. 'I need to kill all of them with this hit,' thought him. Multiple spikes emerged from the ground and all went toward each seedling.

All the creatures' bodies were pierced by the spikes; as their bodies exploded, Allocen, seeing that the remains were about to enter in contact with his body, created a wall around him.

'It isn't over yet…' thought Allocen. After he removed the wall around him, he saw him. Gyardibus was walking slowly toward him with countless zombies before him. Gyardibus had his hand in his pocket; as he noticed Allocen again, he stopped.

"Why don't we see who is stronger? Your creature or mine?" said Gyardibus as he looked directly at Allocen, who took a few steps forward.

"You just have the quantity… while I have the quality," answered Allocen calmly. Gyardibus remained chill too.

"That isn't exactly true. Yeah, you have the quality… but I have both," said Gyardibus. He waved his hand, and all the zombies rushed toward the golem. Allocen expected that, so he sent his golem forward too.

The zombies were slower. 'I can't lose this chance,' thought Allocen as he made the golem move faster. Each step he took, the ground beneath him cracked; as he got close enough, the golem slammed once again his hand on the ground.

Now the trembling on the ground lasted more seconds; now it wasn't only in front of the golem, but the trembling was under the zombies. Spikes appeared under them; none of them could do anything about that. Their bodies were pierced and destroyed. All the zombies were pierced, but the plants on their bodies were still moving.

Gyardibus, still behind all of this, smirked as the bodies of the zombies formed once again. As the bodies were forming once again, Gyardibus noticed that the spikes got destroyed right before the zombies were forming again. "Some of that ground remained inside the body of my plants…" pointed out him, whispering. "Oh well, it shouldn't be a problem," added Gyardibus.

What Gyardibus didn't notice was that after the spikes entered the bodies of the zombies, they turned black. 'Be effective…' thought Allocen, looking over his hand with a sad look over his face.

The zombies were now close enough to the golem. With his huge hand, he pushed some of them away, but the rest of the zombies were about to rise on top of his body.

Allocen raised his hand and the golem grew a few more feet. His body became bigger, and every single part was both stronger and larger. Gyardibus, seeing how his creature changed, remained surprised. "Woah, I didn't think you could do something like that," said him as he took a few steps forward to see better.

"I really want that creature to be one of my statues…" whispered Gyardibus. The zombies were now trying to climb on top of the golem's body.

The golem threw himself on the ground. As he fell down, everything around him moved; the zombies were crushed by his body, which turned black the moment he crashed on the ground. Many zombies weren't crushed; thanks to that, they climbed on top of his body, starting to eat him from his back.

Allocen looked directly at the zombies; as he moved his hand from down to up, a third hand appeared over the golem's back. Gyardibus remained surprised again. "How much can you modify your creature?" asked him playfully. "As much as I want," answered Allocen. The hand threw away the zombies; their bodies went as far as the golem could throw them.

After that, the hand retrieved itself and the golem stood up; under him, the bodies of the zombies were crushed. The plants, even if crushed really badly, could still move, although slower now, but Gyardibus hadn't noticed yet. The black stone wasn't inside their bodies anymore; it was absorbed by the plants, and the creatures were weaker.

"Mhm?" Gyardibus murmured, confused at the sight of his creature forming slower. 'It shouldn't take that much…' thought him as he started to bite his thumbnail, sweating.

Allocen's golem did not lose any time. He kept smashing his hand on the creatures; while he did that, Allocen opened the ground beneath them. The zombies were slowly getting buried underground.

Gyardibus kept sweating really hard; he bit his nail so hard he almost crushed it. Allocen did not care about that. As soon as the hole was deep enough, Allocen made the ground move, and he buried the zombies, who were still alive but couldn't do anything to escape.

Allocen took a few steps forward, getting right behind his golem, still looking directly at Gyardibus. "All you can do?" asked him. Gyardibus got his eyes up and smiled; Allocen, noticing the change in his expression, moved his hand to the right.

Spikes were created and they pierced the bodies of the zombies. The ones thrown before by the golem's hand went directly toward Allocen; they didn't return to the main group.

But Allocen expected that. He knew where the zombies were; he was just waiting for them to arrive. Their bodies got pierced by a spike and they had to regenerate again.

"I WILL NOT LET YOU DO THATTT!" shouted Gyardibus. He raised his hand and other zombies rose; many zombies were around him, and the others who were buried by Allocen rose once again. Gyardibus had a look of anger in his eyes.

"TAKE HIMMMM!" yelled Gyardibus. Allocen jumped back; the golem went underground and reappeared once again right under his owner. The golem reappeared bigger than before; Allocen was riding it from his head.

Allocen was still far from the ceiling of the cave, but he could see all the city from up there; the zombies appeared under him as small ants. The golem could easily step on them.

Gyardibus was now bleeding; he was going crazy as he kept using too much magic over and over again, while Allocen was still doing fine.

The fight started once again. All the zombies started to climb on top of the golem's body. Allocen created some spikes that made the zombies fall to the ground, making them lose their balance. Some of them were able to keep climbing on top of the creature's body.

"You can't escapeee… ahahahah!" Gyardibus burst into laughing. Suddenly, some zombies got destroyed and their bodies split into multiple seedlings. A zombie split into 3 seedlings; all of them were able to rush and reach the top of the golem, where Allocen was standing.

Allocen closed his eyes, his hand over the golem's head. Suddenly, the golem's body started to change. It became more polished; in fact, it was almost impossible to climb now. All the creatures fell to the ground; the zombies were still alive, while the seedlings exploded. Some remaining went over Gyardibus's body; he simply removed them with his hand.

'Let's go for him,' thought Allocen. The golem became smaller each step he took; the creature was too big, it was hard to move, and there was the risk he could fall on the city, especially considering how polished he was.

Gyardibus called back all the zombies, but they were too slow; they couldn't reach him in time. The golem, now returned to its original form, gave a punch directly into Gyardibus's stomach, sending him away. Gyardibus's body dragged on the ground and smashed directly into a house's wall.

Gyardibus was dizzy; he could barely get up. All the zombies were slowly disappearing, Allocen then got down from his golem and made him return underground. "You've lost," said Allocen as he walked toward Gyardibus, who could barely answer.

Allocen remained still. Gyardibus slowly felt better and less dizzy, so he looked at him. "I guess I've lost," said Gyardibus. Allocen nodded. "What did you even want to do?" asked Allocen to Gyardibus.

"I wanted to create a garden… everyone should be a statue for my garden," said him, slamming his hand on the ground. "But it won't be possible anymore," said Allocen. "Will you come with me or should I knock you unconscious?"

"I promise I won't do anything bad," answered Gyardibus as he got up. Allocen got behind him, when suddenly a blue portal opened behind Allocen, who looked scared at the sight of that.

"Tch!" Allocen jumped back, scared. From the portal, the spider head emerged from it. On a roof near, Dane appeared. "Hey there!" he jumped down next to Gyardibus.

"Thanks, Dane… but where were you?" asked Gyardibus. Dane at first didn't answer; he looked over at Allocen, who jumped back scared.

"Nothing," answered Dane. Gyardibus looked clearly mad. "What do you mean nothing? What were you waiting for?" yelled Gyardibus as he walked closer to him. Dane turned his head weirdly.

"We were waiting for something like this," said him as a portal opened under the spider head. "We?" asked Gyardibus, before a portal opened behind him. From there, one of the claws of the monster hit Gyardibus right on his back. The paw came out of his stomach; Gyardibus, confused, looked down before coughing up blood.

The spider head came out of the portal and threw away Gyardibus, making him fall on the ground. "Now it's your turn," said Dane, before another portal opened right under him. Allocen looked around scared, before the portal opened right on top of him.
