No one's POV
After a week of rest, Ann was active, actively planning the downfall of Victoria that is, Ethan and Samuel told her not to worry about Victoria, that they've taken care of her already, but she turned a deaf ear to all of it.
Later that day, the news of Victoria smuggling drugs is all over the school forum, and, Oh my God!!!, what???, she also has blood on her hands, Mary must be devastated, 'Why am I thinking about her??', she thought.
Meanwhile, Victoria was apprehended and taken to juvenile till she's 18, then the case will be judged.
Ann was shocked, because it put her plans on hold, permanently.
She began to wonder if Ethan or Samuel had anything to do with it, but I pushed all that to the back of my head.
It was the weekend, and Ethan, Samuel and I had planned to go out for lunch, so we went to Magnolia's restaurant, and we turned heads.
I was wearing a black crop top, which accentuated my curvy figure and baggy jean trousers, which gave a glimpse of my tummy, I tied my hair in a pony tail, and both Ethan and Samuel were wearing white polo shirts and black cargo pants,
"I think that boy likes you", Ethan said with a smirk, I followed his gaze and saw a group of boys, the moment I looked their way they averted their gaze, and I just smiled.
We arrived at Magnolia's restaurant and ordered our food, we sat at the window, and consciously or unconsciously, we didn't know our good looks invited people to the restaurant, mostly guys though, while we were talking, a bold guy came up to me, I recognised him as one of the boys in the group we saw earlier,
"Hi beautiful", he said
"Hello", I said with a smile, and he melted.
Ethan once told me, my smile could melt hearts, Samuel said so too. The boy was nervous, so he stuttered
"C..an.. I get . your number pl..ease??",
"Young man, if you want to get my sister's number you'd have to go through me first", Ethan said intimidating the boy, and Samuel decided to join in the fun,
"Me too, you'd have to get through me", now I think the boy is terrified
"Of course, don't mind these two, I'd love to know you better, give me your phone", I said to the shock of my two brothers sitting at the table with me.
The boy reached out and gave me his phone, and I gave him my number, he then asked, "May I know your name please?, I'm Peter."
"My name is Ann, nice to meet you Peter "
"The pleasure is mine"
I can see he became bolder,
"I'd call you later, bye"
"Bye", I said with a smile, then he left, I could see surprise on his friends faces, but a voice broke through my train of thoughts
"Ann, can we talk??, please?", a voice I knew too well, it was Mary, why was she here?, I asked my self.
"Sure, what about?", I said surprising not just myself but my two brothers
"No way, you better get out from here!!!", Ethan said
"You made her life a living hell in school with the help of your little gossip of a friend, and now she's been arrested, you want to talk?!!, why didn't you want to talk then!?, just get out before I do anything stupid", Samuel said, and I could tell he was really angry
"Have you forgotten when your gossip of a friend made Ann sprain her ankle last week, or when you two tried to beat her up??!!!!", he rose from his seat, and she instinctively flinched, "I don't hit women, don't make yourself the first, just get out!!!", if he was angry then first time, now he's enraged, speaking through clenched teeth.
"Bro calm down, sit, it's alright", I said trying to pacify him, and to my surprise he listened
"I'll leave, I know you guys don't want to see me, but Ann", she said turning to me, "I'm sorry, I still want us to be frien...."
"Don't go there, what you've done?, I could try to forgive, but seeing you around me everyday I'm bound not to forget, because Mary, real friends listen to each other, and don't blame each other because of her boyfriend left her, Mary, just leave, ok I need air".
And as I said the last statement I saw approval in both of my brothers eyes, and she left, partly because both my brothers were shooting daggers with their eyes, and partly because I told her to.
We ate our lunch in silence, and walked home, and to my surprise Peter and his friends followed us and escorted me to my house, they bid us goodbye and left, my brothers left too, leaving me alone in my house, my parents weren't home, so I decided to sleep.
I went upstairs, took a bath and changed into a black silk nightgown and went straight to bed by 3 pm, by the time I woke up, it was already 6 pm, and my parents were back from work and I could hear the voices of my brothers too, dragging my exhausted self from from my bed, still in my silk nightgown, I went downstairs.
"Mum I missed you!!", I exclaimed and hugged her, not realising how babyish I sounded , then my father's jealous voice came from behind me,
"So you missed just your mum, what about your old man??"
"Of course I missed you both", then I went to hug my father, and gave him a kiss on his cheeks, then my mother's jealous voice came from behind me,
"Sweetie, what about my kiss??", I laughed then went to kiss my mum as well, 'these two' I thought,
"So didn't you miss me??", it was Ethan,
I went to give him a hug and of course didn't forget to give Samuel one too, and soon it was time for dinner, everyone gathered around the table, we said our prayers and started eating.
Dinner was lively, my two brothers kept piling food on my plate, 'eat this it's good for your skin', 'eat this it's nutritious', they'd say, and when we finished eating, my belly was swollen, and I didn't feel like walking, so Ethan carried me to the living room where we all watched a movie after they both did the dishes.
I fell asleep and was carried to my room and after some time I woke up took a shower and went back to sleep, we had school tomorrow and I needed rest, my thoughts drifted back to Mary, she said she wanted to reconcile??, I'm not sure that'll happen in this lifetime, she literally walked out of my life and she thinks she can just waltz back in??, no way.
