We didn't have any classes, so my class mates decided to play a game of truth or dare, and to my utter astonishment, Mary and Victoria joined, well I wasn't surprised about Victoria joining, I was surprised that Mary joined.
There was a day when our classmates were about to play truth or dare and Mary declined saying, 'I don't do such', and she would ramble on and on about her home training, and how her mother dotes on her blah blah blah, it was starting to make me sick.
"Lap dance Dave for a whole minute", a voice broke through my train of thoughts and I saw Mary sitting on Dave's lap, dancing, and oh my God!!, is this the same Mary I knew or is this another one, yes I knew her, but I don't anymore, and a minute was up, I noticed that she lap danced him without any restraint, or fear, like she's done it a thousand times over and over again, and for a minute I was relieved that we are no longer friends, or best friends, I thought to myself.
Throughout the entire day I was lost in thought, untill someone tapped me, it was Ethan, my school big bro, he always acted like a brother figure, at first, he liked me, but then realised that I didn't feel the same way, then he became my big bro, spoiling me like a real big brother would spoil his little sister, and I'm happy.
"What's wrong, you seem off, is anything on your mind??", he asked in the most gentle voice I could ever dream of.
"Ethan, people can be two- faced"
He sighed, "Is it about Mary again?"
"Yes, I can't believe I ever knew her"
"It's alright, let's go home, I need to speak with you"
"Ok", and with that, we left for our home, we were neighbours so we went home together, on the way we chatted about a lot of things,
he suddenly paused.
"By the way, the school gossip has been spreading rumours about you"
Sigh, this is what you get for being friends with Mary, "What did she say?"
