After Naruto returned, he headed to the Hokage Tower together with Nagi and the others.
Following a brief exchange of greetings with Tsunade, she decided to test Naruto and the others' strength.
Thus—
Konoha Training Grounds.
Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Shiranui Kūra Haruno, and Kakashi Hatake stood on one side.
Opposite them was Nagi.
Originally, Sasuke had no intention of teaming up with Naruto and Shiranui Kūra to fight Kakashi.
However, Tsunade assigned Nagi to assist Kakashi.
Sasuke immediately agreed without hesitation.
Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Shizune watched from the sidelines.
Tsunade spoke first.
"Well, Jiraiya? Who do you think will win?"
Jiraiya chuckled.
"If you let Nagi fight directly instead of assisting Kakashi, there wouldn't be any suspense."
Tsunade nodded.
"True. Naruto and Sasuke are impressive, but Nagi… I can't even gauge his level anymore."
After all, she still vividly remembered that Nagi had defeated Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki without sustaining a single injury.
Facing either of them alone would already be troublesome for her—let alone both.
"Oh? If you put it that way," Jiraiya smirked, "now I'm curious to see what Nagi does."
On the Field
Sasuke understood Nagi's terror better than anyone.
Whenever they sparred, it was always "four to six."
Four minutes—six beatings.
Kakashi knew Nagi's identity, but not the specifics of his strength.
Naruto wanted to show Nagi the results of his two years of training—and see Sasuke's growth as well.
As for Shiranui Kūra, she simply viewed Nagi as Sasuke's colleague. She even resolved to hold back slightly when attacking him, so that later he might mention her "gentleness" in front of Sasuke.
The battle erupted instantly.
Sasuke intended to quickly eliminate Kakashi.
Naruto wanted to impress his former teacher.
Shiranui Kūra, however, understood one basic principle—
Take out the support first.
Thus, to Naruto and Sasuke's bewilderment, she charged straight at Nagi.
Worried she might injure him, Shiranui Kūra gathered only a portion of her chakra into her fist and threw a punch.
Nagi instantly used the Flying Thunder God Technique to reposition behind Kakashi.
"Kakashi-sensei, this is your stage."
Kakashi broke into a cold sweat.
"Nagi, you're overestimating me."
"On the contrary, Kakashi-sensei—you're being too modest."
"Allow me to lend you a hand."
Nagi placed his left hand on Kakashi's back, first familiarizing himself with Kakashi's chakra.
Naruto and Sasuke formed hand seals simultaneously.
"Wind Release: Great Breakthrough!"
"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"
A gale burst from Naruto's mouth as Sasuke launched a blazing fireball.
"Oh? It seems Jiraiya focused on Naruto's Nature Transformation."
A sky-blue chakra manifested in Nagi's palm and flowed into Kakashi.
Just as Kakashi was about to use Earth Release: Earth-Style Wall, he suddenly widened his eyes.
He felt something unprecedented.
Quickly forming seals—
"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"
If Sasuke's fireball was the size of half a basketball court—
Kakashi's was half a football field.
His fireball swallowed both incoming jutsu without resistance.
Naruto and Sasuke exchanged a glance.
"Wind Release: Great Breakthrough!"
"Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"
This time, their techniques collided with each other—
But instead of canceling out, they fused.
Wind intensified the flames; fire rode the wind.
A massive flaming vortex formed, crashing against Kakashi's fireball and erupting with astonishing heat.
As the flames dissipated—
Two figures burst through.
"Wind Release: Rasengan!"
"Chidori Spear!"
A Rasengan edged with small shuriken-like blades spun violently, while black lightning extended outward in a piercing thrust.
Wind Release and Lightning Release were both frighteningly fast.
Yet Kakashi remained calm.
He raised his hands.
One slap to the left.
One slap to the right.
Like swatting flies, he smashed both the Rasengan and Chidori Spear into the ground.
Chat Reactions
[Ōnoki]: Hm? How did Kakashi do that? Those techniques aren't weak. Why are his hands unharmed?
[Chiyo]: That move… it resembles Princess Tsunade's monstrous strength.
[Hanzō of the Salamander]: No. Even Tsunade would struggle to break those two techniques without injury.
[Tsunade]: I think—
[Orochimaru]: It is Nagi's Yang Release enhancement. It drastically increased the physical durability of Kakashi's hands.
On the field—
Naruto and Shiranui Kūra stared in shock at their calm teacher.
Sasuke, however, remained expressionless. He understood what had happened.
His current ninjutsu simply had limited effect against Nagi's support.
Just as Sasuke prepared his next move—
Shiranui Kūra moved first.
"I'll feint. Follow me!"
She leapt into the air.
"Cherry Blossom Clash!"
Her chakra-enhanced fist crashed toward Kakashi.
But—
Smack.
Kakashi caught it with one hand.
With a casual flick, he sent Shiranui Kūra flying.
Tsunade's eyes widened.
Was the strength she taught Shiranui Kūra truly so fragile?
Jiraiya, however, wasn't surprised.
Strange things happening around Nagi weren't strange at all.
Having once witnessed Nagi replicate the Rasengan flawlessly, this was child's play.
As Shiranui Kūra retreated—
Naruto entered his Three-Tails Version 1 cloak, creating Shadow Clones and wielding Rasengan in both hands.
Sasuke activated his Sharingan, coating the Sword of Shiranui Kūsanagi in Lightning Release chakra.
"Chidori Blade!"
Nagi left part of his Yang Release chakra within Kakashi before retreating.
Kakashi lifted his forehead protector, revealing his Sharingan, and engaged them in close combat.
Naruto's speed and explosive power were immense.
Sasuke's combat technique was razor-sharp.
But Kakashi was a seasoned veteran.
The three became entangled in fierce melee combat.
Though Naruto and Sasuke hadn't fought together in some time, their coordination remained flawless.
Every attack Kakashi launched was dodged through teamwork.
Every joint assault they attempted was countered—
Because Nagi's temporary Yang Release augmentation allowed Kakashi to perform high-risk maneuvers he normally wouldn't dare attempt.
Meanwhile—
Shiranui Kūra circled behind Kakashi—
And launched an attack at Nagi instead.
But Nagi calmly neutralized her chakra-enhanced strike using Gentle Fist: Flowing Water Style.
With a fluid motion, he redirected her momentum, lifting her into the air.
Borrowing force against force, he spun—
A spiraling Gentle Fist: Flowing Water Style rotation left Shiranui Kūra dizzy midair.
Finally—
With a gentle push—
She shot like a drill straight into a tree trunk.
And promptly lost consciousness.
Whether from the impact—
Or the spinning—
Or both—
Was anyone's guess.
