"He's late." Three hours... Three whole HOURS have passed since all instructors came by to grab their students. Yet, here they were still in the classroom.
Rise sent a quick glance toward Naruto whose head was currently outside the sliding door of their classroom. He shook his head, going back to his book as he sat some distance away from Sasuke on the same row at the front of the class. His blue eyes were glued to the pages of the Nexus, any textboxes being sent to him being written on the pages instead. Currently, he was bringing up the discussion in regards to not being rewarded for completing his first mission.
'So, you're telling me I don't get rewarded for missions that aren't based off having sex with women?'
... Yeah, basically.
'That is such a terrible system design. Why would you do that?'
It's not a terrible system design. The main missions at time will be irrelevant because everything currently going on is at the beginning of the story, so you're limited on what you can do since you haven't been given a clear goal. Plus, all your XP, levels, and points will be coming from fucking your targets. I won't reward you for completing basic missions like time objectives because a certain mechanic is tied into your level.
'A certain mechanic tied into the system? Like what?'
Wouldn't you like to know? Aside from that, how are you enjoying your perk? You didn't get to test it on Ayame, but I'm sure it provided some sufficient results.
'It's...' Rise paused in his thoughts, thinking back to a few minutes after they left the academy.
The streets of Konoha were bustling with activity. Men and women alike traveled up and down the paths leading to everywhere and anywhere within each district. Business was booming with the shops and nearby stalls seeming busier than usual. However, they weren't the focus as Naruto and Rise made their way past the various civillians currently around. Even then, that didn't stop Rise from noting something out of the ordinary.
The individual stares him and Naruto were getting as they passed through.
For Naruto, some were obvious looks of disdain or hatred. Others who appeared too close to him naturally moved to put as much distance between them as possible. However, the eyes Rise got on him were far from the ones Naruto received.
The civilian women currently around sent glances at him from time to time. A few had stares that lingered to long, but he couldn't gauge how badly they were affected. His head turned from left to right, seeing some who would peak at him passing by with Naruto before briefly returning to their current activities.
Despite the various stares—mixed ones meant for both Naruto and himself—it wasn't long before they had finally arrived at Ichiraku's Ramen Stand, spotting Teuchi who waved them over with a smile on his face.
Back to the present, Rise resumed his thought by saying "The stares were something, but I didn't get a chance to fully test what it could do. I'll come back to you later on that."
I'll be waiting to see your progress on that then. Don't forget you can always upgrade it again if you want to, but you have some company until then.
'What company?' Rise thought before his attention was caught by the sliding door of the classroom.
He managed to catch the chalkboard eraser fall flat onto Kakashi's hair, earning a laugh from Naruto while Sakura pretended that she tried to stop Naruto. We all knew she was happy about this considering how much time passed. Sasuke on the other hand was quiet just like him.
Kakashi crouched down to grab the eraser. His fingers locked the item into his grip, bringing it up close to his vision. All he did was examine it before sending a glance towards the four of them, but Rise knew what he was about to say. He couldn't imagine him changing such a line for anyone.
"Hmm. My first impression of you all..." He began, bringing his hand up to his masked face to initiate a thinking pose. "I hate you."
That one statement earned a deadpan from everyone in the room.
Moving on, they were all instructed to follow him, something they happily agreed to do since it meant getting out of the classroom. Kakashi had them follow him up top to the roof of the academy, stepping over to the railing at the edge of the building to lean against it while the rest took their seats. Rise watched everyone else take their seat on the steps of the roof before sitting down between Naruto and Sasuke.
"Now that we're all here, let's take some time to introduce ourselves."
"Introduce ourselves how?" Sakura questioned.
"With a bit of the basics such as your name, likes, dislikes, hobbies, and dreams for the future. Things like that."
"Hey, at least tell us about yourself." Naruto commented with an added bit of curiosity despite how rude sounding it came off.
"Very well. My name is Kakashi Hatake. I don't feel like telling you guys about my likes and dislikes. I never really thought about my dream for the future, but I do have many hobbies."
"Eh? All we learned was his name." She whispered to the group, getting earning a nod from Rise and a "yeah" from Naruto.
"Alright, now it's your turn." Kakashi pointed a finger towards Naruto before folding his arms over his chest.
"My name is Naruto Uzumaki," he exclaimed while adjusting his hitai-ate. "I love instant ramen, and eating Ichiraku's ramen that Iruka-sensei usually treats me to. My dislike is how long it takes to prepare instant ramen, and my hobbies is comparing different ramen flavors. My dream for the future is to become Hokage someday, and then everyone will have to acknowledge my existence and treat me like I'm someone. Somebody important dattebayo!"
Rise smiled at that, glad to be apart of this moment in person before Kakashi then pointed towards Sakura.
"My name is Sakura Haruno. I like—I mean, who I like..." She trailed off, sending a glance towards Sasuke before hiding her cheeks out of embarrassment. "My hobbies are..." She sent another glance to Sasuke before saying "and my future dream is" before stealing a glance at him one more time. A squeal was then released from the confines of her mouth after doing so.
"And what do you dislike in particular?" Kakashi asked.
"Rise and Naruto." The answer was too quick.
Naruto began releasing comedic tears with a pained gasp. Ride on the other hand rolled his eyes before patting Naruto's back after seeing his expression. On the other hand, Kakashi gave Sasuke the signal to begin his introduction.
"My name's Sasuke Uchiha. I have lots of dislikes, but no likes in particular. I don't feel like summing up my goal as a dream, but I have an ambition. My ambition is to restore my clan, and kill a certain man."
Short, and to the point. Sasuke's now confirmed longest statement got all eyes on him after that last sentence. Rise already knew who he was talking about, but he couldn't say anything in regards to that. Not like he planned on doing so anyway. Finally, Kakashi turned towards him before giving approval that he could begin his introduction.
"I'm Rise Summers. I like the sword strapped to my back, and hanging out with friends when given the chance. My dislike is Sasuke's fangirl club. Ino and Sakura in particular."
It felt like an arrow pierced her skull the moment she heard that.
"I hate those who use their power to pick on the weak. My only hobby is practicing my taijutsu and kenjutsu. As for my dream for the future... I want to help Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura achieve their dreams, and live my life the way I want to."
His words got all eyes on him, wonder present in Naruto and Sakura's vision while Sasuke seemed to have found himself respectiving Rise a bit more than he already did. Kakashi seemed to be satisfied with his answer, something the redhead took notice of before the subject was changed. Oddly enough, it was about their first mission as a team. A survival exercise to be exact. A little bit of confusion followed afterwards, but they were given the basics of it.
Of the twenty-eight students that passed the exam—the extra one person coming from Rise obviously—only three teams would make it and become officially recognized as ninja under a jonin instructor. In other words, the other individual teams would be sent back to the academy. Rise turned his head to look at Naruto, seeing his horrified expression before turning to Sakura who was stunned by the revelation. He didn't bother to look at Sasuke, knowing something like this wouldn't bother the Uchiha because he watched the show.
"T-Then what was the genin test for?!" Naruto exclaimed.
"Just a test with the sole purpose of seeing who had the potential to become genin. Nothing more to it than that, but this is where the real test lies." With that being said, Kakashi stood up from the railing, placing his hands in his pockets. "I'll be determining whether you pass or fail, so give it your best. Bring your entire ninja tool set, and be there tomorrow at five in the morning sharp."
Rise turned to look at everyone, seeing them all share the same look of his current thought process. No matter what, they couldn't fail.
"Alright, you're all dismissed. Oh, and don't eat tomorrow. You'll throw up."
The warning sent shivers down his spine. Despite the fact he knew all of this, experiencing it for the first time put Rise on edge. Even then, he knew he had to go against that warning. The test was about cooperation, but the design behind it (including how the other three would react in the episode) would make them unlikely to cooperate until Naruto gets tied up for trying to take the lunches while Kakashi wasn't around.
However, if he was now apart of the story, how would that diverge him from the original timeline?
Despite that, everyone eventually departed for their own places of stay. Rise figured it was necessary for mainly two reasons.
1: He needed to see about his living situation. The forest he woke up in wasn't gonna cut it.
2: Preparation for tomorrow's survival exercise.
That's why he was making his way back to Ichiraku's to see if Ayame was there. Since he already had an established bond with her from what he could recall from his memories, things would be easier. That's why he was sauntering the streets of Konoha as he looked at his only available perk.

Ero-Talk: Civilian women will find you attractive, meaning they'll more likely pursue you of their own volition. Civilian women are more likely to entertain/accept your advances anytime you sweet talk them. [Upgrade: 5 points]

'It would be best to upgrade it to decrease the risk, but that would leave me with two points.'
He looked up from his current location, noticing he was in the market area that lead out to the pathway of the ramen stand. As mentioned with his plan for Ayame, seducing her would be easier from their already established relationship. However, it still felt wrong to use her for the sake of this. Something he knew for sure was gonna keep coming back to haunt him because of his morals. That, and the fact he was still a virgin.
Which brought him to his main problem of how he was going to complete his goal? He had no experience with sex, never flirted a day in his life, and his main concern was about messing up so badly he could hurt the relationship between them. A tutorial would've been great at this rate... Wait a second—
'Nexus, is there a tutorial in the game?'
