If someone were to ask you about Tsubaki, most of the answers would be the same. She was a great parent, an enjoyable presence, and a loyal woman. She was someone not afraid to give her thoughts concerning matters that brought her name into the mix, and always gave each day her best shot. Despite having good attributes loved by those who knew her, there were times where her days were gonna be off during certain moments.
As she strolled the aisles of a shop she was in, the front door chimed due to a bell that hung up at the top. The shop owner greeted the person that just entered, but she kept her head down with the intent of finish her current task. That being to acquire another ninja pouch for her child.
When she heard the news that her child's team were gonna be having a survival exercise tomorrow, she didn't hesitate in asking what would he need in preparation. The only thing he requested was a bigger pouch that he could strap to his back with more kunai and shuriken. It seemed simple enough, but she wanted to be thorough about what she'd grab for her son to ensure it wasn't cheap, nor had any malfunctions tomorrow. There were also the mention of smoke bombs and a few other added items, so now she had a list in hand making sure she didn't miss a thing.
With her keen eyesight, she was able to spot a pouch that seemed to fit the bill for exactly what she was searching for. As she picked it out from the rack it was on, someone collided with her waistline, causing her to drop the item much to her shock. That shock only furthered when she saw a hand pick up the ninja tool pouch from her left, and immediately casted her vision in that direction to see who was the cause.
"Sorry about that. I was trying to step around without getting in your way. Looks like I did the opposite." Rise said rather calmly much to her ire.
"You don't say?" Tsubaki questioned, practically snatching the pouch from Rise's hand as she took it back.
Tsubaki was another brunette just like Ibara with long brown hair, and bangs that hung over her forehead. Her brown eyes were currently glaring slightly at Rise while he took in the rest of her appearance, taking note of the long-sleeved white shirt and black tank-top she wore over it. A blue skirt accompanied her attire, and the blue sandals she had on were the only thing to match part of her outfit. That last thing to keep in mind was the red lipstick she wore, and that was everything.
"Ouch. What did I do to deserve such sarcasm?" He watched as she folded her arms, beginning to tap her foot.
"That depends on which you'd rather me tell you off for. Your lack of consideration for me being in this aisle, your delinquency, or the fact you hang around that problem child. It's your pick honestly."
"Judging a book by its cover? The hitai-ate not helping you change your opinion on me?"
"Hard to do so when you exposed my son to the number of kids you decide to beat up for looking at you wrong. I don't know what the academy was thinking in letting someone with anger problems become a shinobi."
Rise's expression didn't change as she began to walk away, and all he could do was stare at her backside. From what the game began to help him recall, the situation was not exactly what she thinks it was.
It was a few months back when Tsubaki came to pick up her son from the academy. School had just let out for the day, and everyone was already on their way home to properly bring the school day to a close. However, the day that Tsubaki decided to take another route home from the academy was the same day that Rise ended up getting into a fight with several other students from another class. By the time she and her child witnessed the conflict, Rise was already standing strong with seven kids laid out on the ground. Tsubaki didn't hesitate in calling him out, and reporting the incident to the officials of the academy.
Little did she know that the whole reason for why this happened was because of the seven students starting the entire mess.
The redhead was already in a bad mood from dealing with Sasuke'a fanclub again—per the usual—and decided to ditch school despite it being a few minutes before class let out. The pathway he happened to take lead him to discover seven other students just like him picking on someone from their class, and he wasn't having it. One thing lead to another, and things escalated when they threatened to give Rise a proper beating if he didn't mind his business. So he did what he does best. Stuck his nose where it didn't belong.
He told the kid to get out of there during the fight, and proceeded to lay belt to ass on all seven students involved in the bullying. Unfortunately for him, he was unlucky to be seen by Tsubaki, and was later chided by their teachers because of it. While he managed to get off with a slap on his wrist—thanks to the kid he protected coming back to defend him after some time had passed when they were called in—the others were made to stay back for detention while cleaning up their classroom for a month.
Moving on, she didn't know what really happened that day, but arguing about it wasn't gonna change anything. Instead, he followed her, managing to close the distance between them with Tsubaki and himself turning into another aisle where the owner couldn't see them.
"You know, pretty faces are usually spent seeing people for who they are, not what they carry with them."
She came to an immediate stop. Her head turned slowly, looking down at Rise as what he said started to replay in her thoughts. It was subtle, but the mention of her pretty face caused her cheeks to turn pink. A scoff escaped Tsubaki's lips as he tried to ignore him. However, she was slowly finding herself starting to lose that battle. And before she could catch herself, she responded—
"Flattery from a delinquent will get you nowhere. Try that with a girl who's easy to lead around by the nose." That wasn't what she wanted to say.
Somehow, someway, she failed to bring up her marriage. What she wanted to tell him was changed last second for reasons unknown to her, and something strange was beginning to build up in her chest because of it. She was too distracted to notice Rise because of it, and he was given a specific textbox from the Nexus, reading it carefully.
Perfect. Right now, she's distracted because of the small influence that you're gaining because of Ero-Talk, but it's time for you to get a little difference of experience between Ibara and Tsubaki. I'm gonna have you use this moment to increase your charm by three points. That way, you'll get to see the magic happen.
Complying with his words, Rise began depositing three points into his charm. With a click of the confirmation button, he was now sitting at thirteen charm, and the textbox in front of him was now retyping itself.
Get ready, because this time you're gonna get a little bold.
'How bold are we talking?' He asked.
Just wait and see. Once we're done here, you're gonna get a proper explanation on this experience. Anyway, let's get back to business. I want you to wrap an arm around her waist, and say the words I have written out for you as they come along. Don't lame out on me.
He released a sigh, stepping over to a still distracted Tsubaki trying to deal with the pressure building in her body. Before she knew what was going on, Rise's right arm round its way to the right side of her waist from behind her back. His fingers suddenly taking hold of her earned a gasp from the woman, and she immediately shot him a glare that failed to hide the look of embarrassment.
Upon seeing him look up at her though, her expression began to falter. She didn't know why, but he seemed more... Charming than before, which was bad news for her. It got her adrenaline pumping from both his combined touch, and the look on his face as he gave a soft smile. He brought her closer to him with a single pull, but it caused her to stumble slightly.
His body kept her up right as she leaned against him. The contact she was receiving from him bothered her, but found herself unable to reject it. Slowly, he rubbed her waist up and down, staring deep into her eyes as her face began to turn scarlet. Her heart rate was picking up because of his actions, and with a lot of help from the system as Rise's improved charm was starting to affect her more than what it did previously to Ibara.
"For someone who said flattery won't work on you, you seen to enjoy being flattered."
"As if. Your words, nor actions hold that much weight."
"If they don't, shouldn't we fix that?"
The question itself sparked something in her. Although she normally wouldn't entertain this, Tsubaki found herself slowly giving into the thought of questioning him about what he meant. She clicked her teeth because of it, slightly upset that the words of another man and his touch was winning against her loyalty to her husband. Before she knew it, a pair of fingers found their way to her chin, and her focus was back on Rise once more.
"Hey now, don't look away pretty face. Those gorgeous eyes of yours shouldn't be anywhere else but on me."
She hadn't even realized she was looking away, having been off in her thoughts thanks to her body's unusual responses to him. However, the compliment of her eyes got Tsubaki's face to flush entirely from top to bottom. It was a strange experience for her, and never in her life was she ever approached in such a way by a genin of all people even when she used to be that age. It was starting to build a fierce heat within her lower body, and she begun to answer him because of it.
"You really think my eyes are gorgeous? They're only brown, and lots of people here have that same color."
"Then how about you give me answer an on what you think is the most gorgeous part of you? Better yet..." He paused in his statement, nearing her lips which earned him a gasp from how close he was. "How about you show me in great detail all the best parts of you?"
And there it was. His first advancement of the day.
The sudden statement left her stunned, not sure how to respond before Rise began pulling away from her. The feeling from his closeness began die out slightly because of the separation, but it only began to get worse as he started to leave. At the moment, Tsubaki found herself with an inner struggle, and confused. One side was grateful that he was leaving, but the other half wanted him to stay. She clicked her teeth out of irritation because of it, upset with how she responded to him, and from easily she was falling under his words.
"By the way, I look forward to your answer. Don't keep me waiting too long."
The whisper of his statement got the woman to turn her head in his direction. The only thing she could do was watch him depart from the store, frustrated by how his words and touched overwhelmed her so easily. That delinquent... Something was off about that boy. She just couldn't put her finger on it.

Hateful Mother of Konoha V2: Flirt with Tsubaki of the Hidden Leaf! Completed!
Reward(s): +30 XP, +5 Points, +1,500 Ryo
______
Done, and done. Two missions have been completed of the tutorial, and you're one step closer to getting with Ayame. However, before we get to that point, we need to go over the differences that you just experienced. So, did you know notice how it took a little longer for Tsubaki?
'Now that you bring it up, it was weird." Rise thought, continuing on his walk as individual stares from other women were being sent his way. He was back to reading his book again, making it easier for him to do certain interactions that he couldn't do normally with a textbox. 'Despite me being irresistible by my perk's description, the way she responded to me was as if she was resisting. If I could put that way at least.'
Yes, but no. It's not primarily that she was resisting, but because your charm was at the standard for civilian women affected by other points like: time, influence, etc. See, there's a little hidden mechanic in almost every stat and perk that are available to you. For Ero-Talk, its effects improve with your charm, and intelligence the more points you deposit into both stats.
'How so?'
Best way is to explain it through Ibara and Tsubaki. For Ibara, you don't have any shared history with her, making the standard stats for starting out more powerful as she doesn't see you in a negative light (influence). It was easier to CHARM your way into her mind and leave her wanting more.
For Tsubaki, you have shared history from an incident I wrote into your past for the sake of the tutorial. As she views you negatively (influence) the same way she does Naruto, it took your words longer (time) to reach her. Then I had you boost your charm, and her reactions to you improved because of it as Ero-Talk believed that you were slightly above average with the smallest change in your stat.
'Alright, I get that, but where does intelligence factor into this?'
Ero-Talk's other ability "Civilian women will always accept your advances as long as you say the right words" is where intelligence comes in. Trying to flirt with anyone requires both charisma and intelligence, which are linked for the sake of the game. The ability to form sentences on the fly so well put together while you chat with the target of interest is a needed skill for anyone trying to pursue a partner, though this isn't always the case.
However, at your current level, it's a much needed skill. Every woman is different with their own traits, and what they want in a man. Some are lower on the scale who can be easily pleased like Ibara with positive or no history, and others are like Tsubaki who take a bit more time to warm up to you with bad history or that woman's personality traits. This is all by the game standards. The higher you climb, the difficulty for romancing/seducing women goes up.
Any questions?
'No for now. I feel like I'm caught up thanks to the explanation. I just need to get used to everything going on so far.'
I'm glad you said that, because now we're about to really put you to the test with Ayame. To give you an advantage though, you should put three points into intelligence. It'll help you out without a doubt.
Doing as told, rise flipped over to his stats. With a press of his finger on intelligence, he deposited the three points needed. After confirmation, he continue on his way to the ramen stand where Ayame was currently working. Time to finish this tutorial.
