The ceiling collapsed as knights stormed the chamber.
Silver Eyes grabbed Kaito's chains.
"They're here."
Blades pierced the doorway. Holy symbols glowed.
"Shadow Demon!" one shouted.
Kaito's veins burned. The creature inside him stirred.
"Let me out…" it whispered.
The girl cut the chains.
"Run."
A knight lunged. Kaito's shadow exploded outward, forming jagged spikes.
Blood splashed across stone.
The girl stared.
"You're learning."
But more footsteps echoed above.
Too many.
The Crimson sky rumbled.
And something far worse than the Order was waking.
