The moment Cheese saw me he leapt as much as his injured foot could allow and I let myself collapse into his familiar soft, musty warmth.
Then he faced Rina, tail going limp, bracing himself but she waved, a smile stretching her friendly face.

He glanced at me then back at her before his gaze returned to me again. He waited for my input of the stranger in our space and I nodded.
He bowed like he had begun to recently do to avoid the Lycan's wrath.
