The note read – This humiliation won't be tolerated at any cost. Its my word seventh commander…..you will pay for what you've done. I will make you pay. Even worse than your sister. You will beg for death and it wont be given to you. You insides spilling out. Even if it means killing those other worldly beings.
Your actions will have consequences. – First Commander.
Daniel is in fear. Not the fear of death but the fear that he might not be able to save the kids in future. He is now determined to train both of them so they can be on par with the commanders.
"I will train them…..I need to train them. Its not a choice anymore."
He gets a knock on his door. A firm and gentle, nothing to worry.
*open*
A well dressed and soft voiced elf lady appears. Looking at her felt like she's the definition of Beauty itself.
"Hey Daniel."
"H-Hey, Angela."
He stuttered.
"How are you??"
"I-I'm g-good, what about you??"
He stuttered again.
"I'm Good! You look pretty sweaty….what happened??"
"Nothing just didn't expect to see you, after so long."
"Fell in love, didn't you??"
She smirks.
"What? Love? Me? NO."
"Even after so long....You are still a bad liar."
"I-I'm not lying!!!"
"Yeah yeah."
"Anyways…..why are you here?? I gave you a job right??"
She looks at him in disbelief.
"That's what I'm here for."
"So….what are the updates??"
"Well Daniel, I got a type of that Mana crystal you were asking for."
"A type?"
"You see the mana crystal you asked for...was stolen by the first commander. He is one step ahead of us."
*sigh*
"What's the plan now??"
"Well as for you, absorb this mana crystal. Its almost on par with the one you asked for."
"And you??"
"As for me, I'll live with you for a while and do some research."
"W-WHY!?"
"Well because I saw the first commander's movement near this area. Why is there a problem??"
"N-no nothing."
John knocks at the door.
"Hey! Lovebirds!"
Angela looks at John.
"And who is this hottie??"
"Your mana won't rise. I'm not flattered."
Daniel and Angela both looks at him in shock. She casts an ice spell.
"Who are you!? How do you know about my innate technique!? Tell me before I Freeze you to your death!"
"Does it matter at all?? The one you should be freezing to death is the first commander!"
"W-what!?"
"Stop arguing with me! Daniel! Absorb that crystal already."
"Daniel who is he!?"
Daniel sighs.
"He is….our companion. John and his friend Sydney and I are in a guild now…..and since you will be living here, you are also gonna join this guild of ours."
"Wh-why!? Why would I join your guild?? I won't be going on any sort of missions, alright!?!"
John intervenes.
"Angela…..If you want to free your brother from the semi-commander's captivation...then join us."
Angela's eyes widen. She rushes towards John with an ice sword.
"Well..."
Daniel interrupts and stops Angela.
"Alright Angela that enough!!!"
"How can I!? Does he know how much I went through because of him getting kidnapped!?"
John looks at her with a calm smiling face.
"You were removed from your clan because they thought it was your carelessness that your brother got lost."
Angela calms down. Tears coming down though her cheeks.
"Listen Angela…..I need you. WE need you. This isn't a contract or anything. It's a request. Please join us. I will save your brother. I promise!"
Somewhere in the world of Rimora, The ring of CALAMITY rotates for the 3rd time. John felt the pain. Increased and sharpened. He gets on his knees.
(Oh this pain!!!)
"J-John are you alright??"
"Angela use your healing spell, now!"
She uses healing spell on John. Her eyes widens.
"I-I'm not able to heal him!"
"W-What!? How!?"
'I don't know!!!"
John normalizes after just a second or two. He takes a deep breathe.
"Are you alright, John?!?"
"Ye-Yeah, it happens from time-to-time."
"Oh! Alright…."
"So…will you stay by our side??
Angela thinks a lot. About the consequences. Nothing seems to be negative.
"F-Fine! Just help me find my brother."
"Told you, we WILL find him!"
(I should see if i can copy Angela's skills, they'd help me a lot in future.)
