CHAPTER – 5
John and Syd reach the Guild's association. They took a quest and left the association.
"Sooo….we are not going to find Daniel??"
"Well HE should be the one finding us because I made a deal with him. Plus why do you need him with us??"
"Well I don't know....his presence is reassuring."
Without saying a word….John started heading towards the dungeon to complete the quest.
"Alright here we are....lets enter the dungeon."
"You sure we can survive this…..i-im scared."
"Yeah…..its level one dungeon after all"
They enter the dungeon. Its like any other dungeon...dark. With skeletons lying around. John wonders how can someone die in a level 1 dungeon.
(No way they died in a lvl 1 dungeon where our only enemy is a goblin.)
"H-Hey John...what's that"
They see a goblin, a green and short goblin. Simply walking towards them. In the very next second, John cuts him down with his artifact dagger. As soon as he kills the first goblin, the system appears in front of him and a lot of goblins appear in front of him.

"Hey Syd do you have a new quest or something??"
"Huh? Nooo? But how did you do THAT with your dagger!?!?"
"Just use your dagger, you'll understand."
Syd also swings the dagger and does something similar to John and kills a goblin. Meanwhile John is slaughtering the goblins with ease.
(How am I so smooth with my skills?? Did the COPY make this skill better? Well it doesn't matter until I'm getting levels and money!)
After a while most of the goblins were killed by John and some were killed by Syd too. They get out of the dungeons. System notification pops up.

(Oh I got a ring…..I almost forgot about that, You can get rings as reward for completing quests but...…Its an RNG system so its really hard to get one. Hmm…..Selfish Ring huh? It basically gives me 2 times exp. Its basically for levelling up quickly. Daniel used it to level up from 1 to 100 in one day.)
He equips the ring. He is level 10 now and Syd is jealous as she is only lvl 4 with reward as healing potion only. She notices the ring and a questions struck her mind.
"Hey I always wanted to ask something about our novel!"
(NO Please don't tell me she is suspicious of this world and my novel!?!)
"Y-Yeah?? What is it??"
John remembers the warning from the system about the CALAMITY.
"Sooo...what's the ring in your novel?? Likee…..what does it do??"
John sighs in relief.
"Yeah...You had me there for a second."
"What is that??"
"Nothing but...yeah about the ring. Its basically a ring guarded by the seven commanders. its called the RING OF CALAMITY! So the seven commanders guard it. That ring in the future will become the reason to end all the seven commanders and become even more powerful to end the g-"
"I knew it was cringe....thank god I never read it!"
"Shut up dude!"
(I'M glad she isn't asking further.)
"Lets go and get our money I'm really hungry"
They leave for the guilds association. They get their money and get to the restaurant to eat.
"Let's level ourselves up fast so that we can be safe and meet Daniel quickly"
"No way!!! The coward Syd I know is now willing to take part in dungeons huh??"
"Yerp, I wanna get level 1000 and challenge Daniel!"
"That's the spirit!!!"
(Of course she doesn't know how strong hell be in the future)
After eating they take up the quest again and the same thing. They enter dungeon does the quest and earned reward. After completing the dungeon, they get their rewards. As for John he is level 42 because of the ring and for Syd…..she is level 12. As they turn to leave....they see something that completely leave both of them shocked. An old goblin with a staff in his hand starts walking towards them. Syd without hesitation attacks the goblin. In the very next moment she gets unconscious and falls on ground.
"W-What is that....w-who are you!?!"
"I am the Goblin God, my child"
"Wha…."
(When did I mention about a goblin god in my novel!?!?)
"Listen child…..now is not the time for this. I want you to do what must be done. You need to copy my skill QUICK REGEN."
(JACKPOT! But wait…..why would a god want me to copy his skill. And how does know about my COPY skill!?!)
"Id do it but you need to tell me the reas-"
"QUITE CHILD!!! You are no one to ask for the command given to you by a GOD. Get it!?! Now do the thing! One more question you'll be killed mercilessly!!!"

(Its that easy!?! I'm getting a free skill. And what's with this guy…..why does he want to die and what job is he talking about?!)
The Goblin God stands with his arms wide open as if he is inviting him for a hug. At that moment John felt guilty and made the choice, with his dagger he stabs the god infinitely and kills him. Even john is shocked, how the hell did he kill a God with just a dagger. But it really looks like he's dead.

A creature appears from within the ocean. It was the size of whole ocean.
