I paced the length of the room, my knuckles white as I clenched my fists in pure fury. The news of Lucian's return had just reached me, and it made my blood boil. Ragnar had fooled me. He hadn't killed Lucian at all, despite practically begging me for the chance.
With a loud growl, I swept my arm across the counter, shattering every glass and bottle into a hundred pieces against the floor.
The door opened, and Emily stepped inside, completely unfazed by the mess. "I'm not surprised you're acting like this," she said, her voice hollow. "Honestly, I don't even care anymore."
I scoffed, turning a glaring look toward her. "What the hell do you want, Emily?"
