Chapter 118 - A Favor

"Ya' both, get on ya knees and beg! Beg for-" Before Santiago could finish his sentence, he suddenly started to violently cough blood, even dropping to his knees. "Damn it. Fuckin' damn it! I don't even think I'll be alive after this. But who da fuck cares? EVERYONE! EVERYONE IN THIS ROOM CARES. ISN'T THAT RIGHT, BOYS?"

Everyone cheered, except for Kael, Alex and Rose, the three of them too speechless and frozen to say anything. "Now, ya' both...Alex Lewisguard and his lackey, don't ya dare move an inch. 'Cause da throat gonna go phewww!"

"What...is she doing here?! Why?! What kind of a bodyguard is Lucius?! No, what kind of bodyguards does her father hire?! Every single time, she's been kidnapped?!" Kael thought, clenching his fist so hard that they started to tremble, his anger clearly directed to the poor security of the mansion.

Though, his anger quickly faded and turned into despair due to Santiago's next words. "Could you do me a favor, dipshit?" Santiago said, only a few inches away from Kael's face. "Defeat...no, slaughter some guy called Tristan, he's no ordinary butcher. He's DA butcher. Bring his head to me and go away...unharmed! With dat bitch and fuckin' Alex Lewisguard or whatever da hell he thinks he is."

"H-How can I trust you?" Kael said, clearly shaken by the sudden turn of things. His body language showed that he was scared but he managed to cover it up with a serious face.

"Trust...? Ah...trust," Santiago said, looking at the floor with a slight smile, nodding to himself. "You just gotta go along with it. Dat's da only way to get the bitch back and to leave this place unscathed," Santiago said, his voice unusually calm and his face having a slight sad smile. He placed his hand on Kael's shoulder and tapping it lightly as if to encourage him.

For a split second, Kael had forgotten that Santiago was the one who was blackmailing him and had almost killed him. And that split second was enough to make Santiago laugh. "Ya actually thought I was serious. Dipshit. Bring his head. Go," Santiago ordered, taking a moment to sit down as he wasn't able to stand up for any longer due to his injuries.

As Kael slowly and reluctantly made his way towards the outside, Alex started to walk alongside him without any hesitation as he instantly knew who Santiago was talking about. "Tristan...?! That Tristan?! Out of all people...tch. Kael doesn't have a chance. In fact, he'll die," Alex thought, causing him to walk walking as well.

"Very well. We'll bring Tristan's head to you. In the meantime, do not harm her," Alex said, glancing over his shoulder with a serious glare at Santiago...but before he could leave with Kael, Santiago stopped him.

"Woah. Woah. Woah. Where the hell do ya think yer going? Who the hell told you to move?" Santiago said, who looked at Rose and the person who was holding her hostage, causing that guard to slightly stab Rose, just enough for her to gasp in pain, which made Alex freeze instantly, letting Kael go.

Draco was currently standing in front of Todd Falcon, who was calmly sitting in his comfy chair, arms folded together. His face was unreadable but his voice had a slight but threatening tone to it. "I heard that you sent Santiago a little gift?"

"I did," Draco said without any hesitation, his face serious but confident.

"Why?" Todd asked, his eyes narrowing.

There was a small moment of silence before Draco spoke. "I can tell you a detailed and very long plan that a certain someone devised but instead, I'll say this: Whatever I am doing is extremely beneficial for the organization. It will kill Santiago, a threat for the organization even though he is on our side. Furthermore, it will also kill Tristan and Alex Lewisguard, both of them being a massive threat."

"Oh? And how can I believe this "plan" of yours will work?" Todd asked, who was finally getting slightly interested. "How can I know that this isn't a lie that covers up something far darker?"

"You have no other option. The plan is already in motion," Draco answered.

"Is that so? Then I think that I might have to kill you," Todd said, standing up with a confident smile.

"Kill me? Hm...before that..." Draco said, his eyes lingering on the tea for far too long. "Could I have some tea please? It's my dying wish," Draco said, who wasn't being sarcastic at all. He was completely serious.

"Of course," Todd replied with a smile, pouring some tea for him.

After a little while, Draco finally drank his tea and was ready to die. However, before that could happen, Lucius spoke up, breaking the silence. "Sir...don't you already know the plan? In fact, you were the one who devised it."

Todd glanced at Lucius with a confused look. "Did...I? Ah, I must have forgotten. It must be...that plan."

"It seems that you finally remembered," Draco said, calmly sitting back. "I guess I get to live a bit longer."
