Manhattan ruins.
The sky cleared. Gunpowder lingered. The purple crack — gone. Not even a spatial ripple remained.
Strange collapsed onto rubble. Hands shaking. As the Sorcerer Supreme, his perception was sharper than anyone's — he'd felt the entire universe walk the edge of annihilation. Then get dragged back by hands that shouldn't exist.
"Is... is it over?"
BZZZ—!
A deep green teleportation beam struck the ruined plaza.
Jake walked out. Gwen's hand in his.
Clothes torn. Steps steady. Eyes carrying the particular sharpness of someone who'd just killed a god, mugged another one, and stitched reality back together. The Omnitrix pulsed dark green.
Silence.
One second. Two. Three.
"HURRAH!!!"
New York erupted. Then the world — survivors watching via satellite, every screen, every remaining broadcast — the cheer was tectonic. Not applause for a superhero. The worship of a species that had just watched its savior return from the edge of existence.
Jake ignored it.
Two figures landed before him.
Tony — suit missing an arm, paint chipped to bare metal. Steve — Stars and Stripes in tatters, holding half a shield.
Tony opened his faceplate. No quip. No deflection. He produced a transparent hard drive emitting blue light from a hidden compartment.
"What is this?"
"Supreme control authority of Stark Industries. All AI base code, the orbital satellite weapon network, and the final Arc Reactor blueprints."
He held it out with both hands.
Jake didn't take it. Looked at him.
Tony pointed at the sky.
"Ultron. The zombies. An explosion that almost shattered the universe." He breathed deep. "Earth needs a god. You are that god."
"From today — Stark Industries merges into the Plumbers."
[Iron Man — shocked! +100,000!]
Jake took the drive. No ceremony. The internal affairs of Earth had been reshuffled. His gaze was already pointed at the broader multiverse.
The Watcher Station. Main control room. Thirty minutes later.
Lights flickering back on. Maintenance robots repairing Ultron's damage.
Jake sat in the Supreme Commander's chair.
Gwen stood beside him, scanning a battle damage report. Frowning.
"Eighty percent of weapon systems — paralyzed. My suit — completely scrapped." She looked at the holographic display. "If the TVA comes like that bald eyeball warned, our current firepower isn't enough."
Tony and Steve stood below the dais. Expressions grim.
"We need stronger energy sources. Harder cosmic-grade materials," Tony said.
"Materials?"
Jake leaned back. A smile — playful, confident, slightly insane — curved his mouth.
He raised his right hand.
Clang.
Clang, clang...
Colored stones — tossed casually onto the alloy conference table like cheap marbles.
They rolled. Clinked against each other.
Red. Blue. Purple. Green. Orange. Yellow.
Six lights illuminated the entire control room. The surrounding space groaned. Time thickened near the green stone. Space refracted around the blue one.
Tony's eyes went wide. Breathing stopped.
Strange — stepping from a portal at that exact moment — felt his legs buckle. He dropped to his knees.
"This... these are..."
His voice broke.
"Six... INFINITY STONES?! Didn't you... eat them?!"
"Indigestion." Jake shrugged. "Spat them back out."
He picked up the Reality Stone. Tossed it in his palm like a pebble.
Then looked at Gwen. Who was staring at the table with an expression that suggested reality had stopped making sense.
"You said your suit was scrapped?"
Jake pointed at the six Stones.
"Take them. Use these as the power core."
He looked at Tony below.
"You design it. I'll supply the materials. Build me a set of Infinity Armor — multiverse-capable."
Jake grinned.
"Can't have my girlfriend going out in rags."
Thud!
Tony slapped his own forehead.
Six Infinity Stones.
To make clothes for his girlfriend.
