The universe was screaming.

With Ultron dead, the purple rift spanning the Solar System spiraled out of control. Dozens of parallel universes — derailed trains of reality — hurtled toward the main universe under the madness of mutual gravity.

The Moon collapsed. Gravity inverted. Thousands of tons of rock floated toward the incoming Earths.

On the main Earth — tsunamis swallowed coasts. Crust fractured. Volcanoes erupted in chains.

Dimensional crushing. Physical collision of realities. Once they met — all mass would collapse into a black hole singularity. Not even gods survived that.

The crater.

"System — lift all safety restrictions."

Both hands on the crossed Biomnitrix dials.

Left wrist: the dial spun deep into the genetic library. Past every alien. Past every Ultimate. To the absolute bottom — a pure black silhouette flickering with starlight.

Alien X. Celestialsapien. Reality-rewriting power. Universe-reshaping authority. But requiring consensus between two internal personalities before any action could be taken.

"I don't have time to debate."

Jake's eyes went fierce. Right wrist.

"Use fusion genes to dilute Alien X's purity. Seize control."

Right gene lock: Clockwork.

"OPEN!"

SLAP!!!

Absolute stillness.

No green light. No shockwave.

The moment Jake pressed both dials — the Moon stopped. The Solar System stopped. Light ceased propagating. Floating rubble froze solid. The dozen parallel Earths hurtling toward collision — suspended in the void.

Jake vanished.

In space — a cosmic deity.

His body was the deepest night sky — pure black scattered with living stars. But inside his transparent chest — no organs. Only countless golden time gears, precise beyond comprehension, meshing and turning with slow, absolute authority.

Above his head: a golden wind-up key condensed from starlight.

Clockwork X.

The fusion of Clockwork's temporal laws had bypassed the two personalities entirely — seizing control of the Celestialsapien body without debate. Not full Alien X — an "incomplete" version that couldn't create or destroy the multiverse with a thought.

But enough.

"Retreat."

One word. Not one voice — ten thousand whispering simultaneously. Cosmic echo. Irresistible.

His words became law.

The golden gears turned sharply. Click!

The dozen parallel Earths — carrying billions of tons of kinetic energy, seconds from shattering reality — were seized by an invisible cosmic hand.

Timeline — rewound.

The Earths reversed along their trajectories. A hundred kilometers. Ten thousand. One million. Faster than they'd come. Forced back — every one of them — into the purple rift.

Three seconds.

On Earth — receding seawater returned to oceans. Erupting magma flowed back into craters. Fractured crust fitted together seamlessly.

Every disaster — erased.

Not repaired. Reality itself, rewritten.

"Not done."

Clockwork X floated in space. Arms raised — brilliant as the starry sky — aimed at the purple rift spanning the Solar System.

"Close."

Palms pressed together.

RRUMBLE—!!!

No sound in vacuum. But every living being heard it — deep in their souls — the sound of a zipper closing across the fabric of reality.

The rift — large enough to bury the universe — compressed under Jake's palms. Dimensional barriers reorganizing. Purple void light squeezed and extinguished, kilometer by kilometer.

Underground shelter.

Gwen sat on the floor. Staring at the screen.

A deity made of stars and gears. Reversing galaxies. Stitching the universe with a gesture.

"Creator God..." she whispered.

Space.

The rift shrank. Galaxy-spanning to thousands of kilometers. Thousands to hundreds. Hundreds to a sliver.

In the final second before total closure—

Vroom—

The sensation of being watched. Not by anything in this universe. By something above it.

Jake paused.

Through the remaining gap — less than a hundred meters — he looked into the other side.

The High-Dimensional Observation Room. The intersection of all parallel universes.

A phantom.

Massive. Blue cloak. Exaggeratedly large bald head. And eyes — two white planets, pupil-less, blazing with pure light.

Staring through the gap with an expression that a being who had watched the birth and death of universes should never have worn.

Shock.

The Watcher. Uatu.

He'd come to record the main universe's destruction by Infinite Ultron.

Instead he'd witnessed an anomaly of unknown origin swallow Infinity Stones like candy, stitch a shattered multiverse with bare hands, and then notice him watching.

Ten meters of rift remaining.

Jake looked at the giant bald eyeball. His star-filled face showed zero awe.

He didn't speed up the stitching.

He stopped.

"You've been watching for a while."

Cosmic echo, booming directly into the Observation Room.

"Did you buy a ticket?"

Whoosh!

Before the Watcher could react — Jake's figure vanished. A streak of starlight — through the final ten meters of the rift — barging into the Watcher's high-dimensional domain.
