The Watcher Station.

BEEP—! BEEP—! BEEP—!

The highest-level siren screamed through every corridor, every room, every sealed blast door.

Beyond the panoramic explosion-proof glass — the cosmic background had vanished. Replaced by silver.

Millions of Infinite Ultron Sentinels — mechanical copies, each one capable of soloing a standard superhero — poured from spatial rifts in an endless metallic flood. They surrounded the Moon base so completely that the stars were gone.

Red eyes. No emotion. No fear. No hesitation.

"ALL TURRETS — LIFT FIRE RESTRICTIONS! FIRE!"

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Thousands of plasma cannons erupted simultaneously. Blue beams shredded the front ranks — tens of thousands of Sentinels vaporized in the first salvo. Fireballs bloomed in the vacuum. Debris hammered the energy shield like metallic rain.

Completely useless.

Ten thousand destroyed. A million replaced them. They threw themselves onto the shield — ray guns, vibranium claws, self-detonation — methodically depleting the barrier's energy reserves.

"Shield at 70%! All four reactors overloaded!"

"Connect backup power! Divert life-support electricity — even from the living quarters!" Gwen drew twin energy pistols, eyes fixed on the silver ocean above. "Even if the base explodes today — this scrap metal does NOT get through to him!"

Three hundred meters underground. Top-secret laboratory.

The gunfire was inaudible here. Only a dull vibration through the alloy floor. The ten-meter lead-zinc door sealed tight.

Jake stood in the center of the empty lab. Jacket torn off. Lean frame. The Omnitrix still warm on his wrist.

"System. Account balance."

His voice was flat. Terrifyingly calm.

[Current Emotion Points: 11,500,000.]

Eleven and a half million. The accumulated harvest from surviving Infinite Ultron, saving the heroes, shocking every witness in New York. Enough to upgrade every alien in the database to Ultimate form.

Jake didn't look at the upgrade menu.

Against Infinite Ultron — against a being who could delete reality — individual alien forms were meaningless. Ultimate Four Arms would last three seconds longer before the Reality Stone erased it. Ultimate Way Big might buy five. The gap wasn't quantitative. It was categorical.

"Bring up Azmuth's Core Code."

His left hand swiped through the air.

HUM—

Green holographic code erupted from the Omnitrix — filling the laboratory floor to ceiling. The genetic underlying logic that the smartest being in any universe had spent a lifetime writing.

Jake walked to the lab bench. Entered the password. Opened a silver briefcase.

Inside — silver liquid metal, flowing as if alive.

Stark Industries' nano-extension technology. Fused with a fraction of Wakandan vibranium's properties. Something Jake had borrowed from Tony.

Azmuth's software.

Marvel's best hardware.

Eleven million points of reality-bending computational fuel.

Materials ready.

"System. Listen carefully."

Jake leaned on the console. Eyes locked on the liquid metal.

"I'm breaking the Omnitrix's Safety Lock. Forcing fusion of two completely different alien DNAs. Use every Emotion Point as computing fuel — burn me a backdoor into the core code."

[WARNING!]

The system prompt went crimson.

[Forced cross-species DNA fusion violates the Omnitrix Life Safety Protocol! Gene Collapse probability: 99.9%! Extremely high risk of host physical annihilation!]

RRUMBLE!

A chunk of alloy ceiling crashed to the lab floor. The surface defense was failing. The entire Moon shook.

Gwen's voice — distorted, desperate — through the comm: "JAKE! Shield at 30%! An energy signature has locked onto the main base — Ultron — Ultron himself has DESCENDED!"

No more time.

If he waited, not just Earth — the Moon, the base, Gwen, everyone — would be erased.

"To hell with safety protocols."

Jake's eyes went bloodshot. His mouth split into a grin that had nothing to do with humor.

He grabbed the nano-metal from the briefcase and slammed it onto the Omnitrix.

"Eleven million points. Every last one. Into the Computing Pool."

His fist hit the console. Green holographic light painted his face — half genius, half madman.

"System — open GENE FUSION PERMISSION!"
