Chapter 50 - Chapter 50 - Sunrise Cataclysm

The battlefield trembled beneath unstable skies.

Ernos stood at the center of the crater, flames raging violently around his transformed body.

Across from him—

Wang Wei.

Sebastian.

Lance Poll.

Lina Charlotte.

No hesitation remained.

Wang raised his hand slightly.

"This ends now."

Sebastian smirked.

"About time."

Lance locked targeting coordinates.

Lina's eyes glowed with focused intensity.

Ernos spread his flaming wings.

"You think numbers will change fate?"

Wang's voice was calm.

"Not numbers."

"Synchronization."

Phase One — Lockdown

Lina moved first.

A massive ring of super-compressed frost erupted outward, flash-freezing the surrounding air molecules. Temperature plummeted violently, destabilizing the black sun's heat output.

Ernos felt the shift.

Before he could counter—

Sebastian struck.

A high-velocity impact straight to Ernos' core.

The force drove him backward midair.

Lance fired.

Three consecutive energy lances pierced through the unstable solar aura, fracturing its outer defense layer.

Ernos roared.

Solar flares exploded outward—

But Wang stepped forward.

"Celestial Grid."

Gravity lines manifested in geometric patterns around Ernos, locking spatial vectors in place.

Movement slowed.

Energy distorted.

Ernos struggled—

But every attempt to move was met with opposing gravitational tension.

Phase Two — Convergence

"Now!" Wang commanded.

Sebastian delivered a crushing upward strike, launching Ernos higher into the gravitational trap.

Lance detonated synchronized blasts from above, forcing him downward.

Lina froze both escape paths simultaneously—ice constructs forming and shattering in rapid succession, denying motion.

Ernos was caught.

Compressed from all sides.

Wang raised both hands.

Celestial Dominion surged.

Every gravitational axis inverted inward.

"Total Convergence."

The pressure became catastrophic.

The black sun core flickered violently.

Cracks formed along Ernos' flaming arms.

He screamed—

Not in fear—

In rage.

The gravitational pressure intensified beyond structural tolerance.

And then—

Both of Ernos' arms were torn apart in a violent implosion.

Flaming limbs disintegrated into fragments of collapsing solar energy.

A shockwave blasted outward.

Silence followed.

Ernos dropped to the ground.

Armless.

Kneeling.

The black sun core flickering erratically.

Sebastian exhaled.

"We did it…"

Lina steadied herself, breathing hard.

Lance lowered his weapons slightly.

But Wang didn't relax.

Because Lord hadn't moved.

Ernos began laughing.

Low.

Broken.

But growing louder.

"You think… this is defeat?"

The black sun core began beating violently.

Faster.

Faster.

Energy no longer flowed outward.

It condensed inward.

The sky began glowing faint gold.

Dawn-colored light spread across the clouds.

Sebastian's eyes widened.

"Energy spike—massive!"

Lord spoke softly from afar.

"He's sacrificing structural stability."

Wang understood instantly.

"Fall back!"

But it was too late.

Ernos lifted his head.

His body, even without arms, began radiating blinding solar brilliance.

"This… is my final light."

The black core shattered—

Replaced by a rising sphere of pure stellar energy forming behind him like a second sun on the horizon.

"Sun Rise."

The battlefield illuminated in golden radiance.

Not dark solar energy.

Not corrupted flame.

Pure, overwhelming stellar ignition.

Ernos launched forward—

His entire body becoming the spear of a newborn sun.

Wang stepped forward alone.

"Everyone back!"

Sebastian hesitated—

But obeyed.

Lina retreated.

Lance pulled away.

Wang stood at the center.

Celestial Dominion surged to maximum stability.

He focused everything into frontal defense.

Gravity layered upon gravity.

Compression fields stacked infinitely.

The rising sun collided with him.

The impact erased sound.

Light consumed everything.

The city center vaporized outward.

A pillar of solar energy shot into the sky.

Seconds felt eternal.

Then—

Silence.

Smoke and golden dust filled the air.

When visibility returned—

A massive crater stretched for hundreds of meters.

At its center—

Wang Wei stood.

His coat torn.

Blood running down his face.

Celestial Dominion flickering—

But active.

His boots cracked the molten ground beneath him.

Ernos lay collapsed several meters away.

Burned out.

Unconscious.

The sun-like aura gone.

Sebastian stared in disbelief.

"He… tanked that…"

Lina whispered,

"That was a star…"

Wang exhaled slowly.

His body trembled—

But he did not fall.

He remained standing.

Across the battlefield—

Lord watched silently.

For the first time—

His expression shifted.

Not anger.

Not concern.

Interest.

The war was no longer predictable.

And Wang Wei—

Was still standing.
