Wednesday finally made it to the quad, her breathing was still calm, the only thing stopping her from being eerily calm as she always is being the unstoppable pumping of her heart.
She opened wide the door of the place only to see Crackstone in the middle in front of the fountain, he seemed almost disappointed the place was empty of outcast.
"I see why you'd be a deranged sad racist, with that look I don't think anyone would even dare look at you." Wednesday said making Crackstone turn around alongside l
Laurel, but the first thing that happened was a laceration blue wing of energy cut him from the left shoulder to his waist diagonally.
Crackstone didn't even budge at the attack, not even blood drew from the cut as it only seemed like she hit a rock, only small debris falling off.
His eyes widened open as he saw Wednesday, a glare of hatred filled him as he raised his staff towards the goth.
"Goody Addams! Even after so many years you still live, like a horrible cockroach that never leaves..." He yelled as the staff created a blue greenish force that made Wednesday repel towards the door she just swung open.
She hit the ground after some meters, thankfully the only think that attack achieved was a pain in the back as she stood up.
'He didn't even care about my magic. The only reason to blame is Dante's heart.' The girl already thought her conclusion, she knew the only real bodypart used on the resurrection was the heart of the inmortal, and if it worked like it does for Dante, then it must also include some sort of strange factor that stops the person from dying.
'But the heart is also susceptible like any other part, not exactly imposible to destroy, so I must either rip it off him or destroy it...' Wednesday raised her hand, her open palm calm creating a dark shade like an orb gathering up.
"Telum." She whispered and the dark orb lunged foward taking the shape of an arrowhead, aiming straight towards the normie chest.
"Bah!" The normie only waved his staff in the air making the attack dissappear into the air like smoke.
"Now let's settle this little grudge we've had for a long time ok...?" Crackstone said with a tone full of a macabre delight as Wednesday felt a pressure tightening around her throat.
She started choking as she grabbed her neck, trying to mutter any magic to even evoque oxygen inside her lungs, but she wasn't succeful as she was raised into the air.
"AH HA HA HA HA HA!" Crackstone laugh echoed around the place as Wednesday started levitating towards him, his crocked teeth showed up as he almost tenderly caressed the girl's cheek as they turned purple from being left so many time without air.
Just as the teenager was about to pass out, Crackstone felt a sting inside of him, a small minuscular sting.
Strange.
He wasn't supposed to even fell pain, this body made of dust and magic only held up by the heart wasn't even made to feel pain, so once he stared down he panicked.
Wednesday fell on the ground, taking heavy breaths as soon as her hands hit the floor.
Crackstone grabbed the black knife deep inside his chest and pulled it out, a small tint of blood only in the point, barely touched the heart.
"You despicable horrible witch!" Crackstone yelled as he tried kicking Wednesday, but she did a quick kick towards his another leg, making him fall into the ground.
"I only missed to see your miserable face when you die." She said as she got her hand inside her sleeve, pulling out another knife, but before she could stab the normie in the heart, a loud gunshot was heard and she hit the ground instantly.
Laurel looked down at the girl on the ground, her shoulder bleeding as she grabbed it tightly, she barely looked up, her teeth gritted to the point they could break, a face full of hatred.
"It's your first smart decision to bring a gun into a fight..." She said, her voice between pain and her characteristic sarcasm.
Laurel face twisted into one Wednesday has never seen before on her face, the once delicate caring and even motherly woman was looking down at her with a smile of satisfaction.
"Don't worry, my next smart decision will be smearing off that cynicism from your face..." She said pointing down at the girl.
Wednesday looked at the gun, she was thinking of what she could do during the situation, the bullet that surely broke her clavicle made a pain enough to break any concentration needed to do a spell, and there surely wasn't enough time to chant one, even the easiest one.
'Can't think like I'm losing...' Wednesday thought to herself as she looked down at the feet of Laurel, one step more and she could kick her, but her position laying on the ground wouldn't give a hard kick, so it was time to think like an inmortal she deeply hates.
"You're biggest achievement will be killing a 16 years old girl, make sure everyone knows that once you turn into a not so serial killer...." she managed to say through the pain, even making her frown whenever she crushed someone with only talking.
And it worked, Laurel took another two steps, pointing closer the gun towards her head, but it didn't matter, as what Wednesday was about to do was already suicidal enough.
"Tonitrus." She whispered as she moved her leg towards the feet of Laurel, the electric sparks was strong, so strong it deeply affected the woman as she fell down to the ground, not even paralyzed, literally trembling as Wednesday perfect control over her magic meant she didn't waste any electricity, any residue only came in form of a pain in her foot.
"Dante was right..., for once, this is
truly stupid move..." She muttered to herself as she barely was able to stand up, the bleeding from the gunshot was still there, and the pain from her broken bone was fighting against the tonitrus she just did in the competition to be the most unbearable one.
"Ye bitch..." Crackstone said as he stood up using help from his staff like a cane.
"Can't you just lay down, you look worse than the dead people I dig up." Wednesday said as she raised her hand doing motions, already thinking of a spell she could use.

Enid came down into her four paws as she jumped over the roof of Nevermore grounds, looking down at the Quad, just as soon as she was about to jump down into the action.
She was pushed off by another beast in equal size into the campus.
She recovered from the fall, looking at the monster in front of her, a blue greenish skin, big doe eyes and short straight teeth that were like the ones a piranha has.
The Hyde growled at her with all the force his lungs could pull, but it was a weak one, at least weak with what Enid was about to showcase.
"GGGRRRRRRR!" She let out a loud growl deep from her throat, her teeth clicking together after the growled, and it seemed to completely work as the hyde seemed now reluctant to get close again.
It's the actual first time Tyler met someone that could beat him, aside from the inmortals of course, it was natural for him to feel wary as soon as Enid lips came up and showed her white bright sharp canines.
Enid had already fought, the tournament was a good preview of what she could do, and now that she's a lot stronger than before she felt like she could split mountain with her bare claws.
So it naturally she's the one that jumped into Tyler first, her claws up straight towards the hyde.
He tried to move away, but explosive short moves has never been his thing, so he barely moved a bit before he was struck down by the girl, her claws going deep into his shoulders making him growl in pain.
Enid instinctively opened wide her jaws ready to clamp down his neck, but she stopped one second before she concluded.
She saw fear.
Tyler looked at her, his eyes were afraid, as if an aggressive dog just lost a fight, he didn't struggle, the pain made him stop in his tracks immediately, but that's strange, why would he stop?
Enid looked down at him, confused, her claws pulled out of Tyler, making him yelp in pain, but as blood kept dripping down from the huge holes, he started getting smaller.
"Wait!" He yelled as he was back to his human form, two big gory holes ripped into his clavicules, and surely the worst for Enid, he was naked.
She looked down on disgust into him, this is the serial killer she has been hearing about, but then later after she harbored herself into thinking she would do justice against the creature that killed so many innocents, she now sees a boy around her age, with a pitiful look in his eyes and the knowledge that he was misguided into killing all of those people.
Enid showed her teeth menacingly as her lower jaw trembled a little with the rippling sound of her teeth, but just as Tyler thought he was going to get beheaded by the werewolf, she turned around, looking towards the Nevermore building again.

"Ugh... Once you people get a glimpse of magic and you act like Merlin..." A beautiful but arrogant voice echoed inside the quad.
Both Crackstone and Wednesday turned their heads around to see the only person who could have such arrogant tone.
She was standing on top of the roof the quad has, blood soaked suit, clean white smile and her green eyes where practically shinning with delight as she looked down at both.
"What are you doing here...?" Laurel said confused as she looked at the Jane, who jumped off the roof to stand next to Crackstone.
"What do you mean?" Jane asked, her face had a fake innocent look as her eyes went wide and her perfect lips turned down like a kid trying to apel to their parents, just that this time it was obvious, mockingly obvious.
"You said we get you alone with Dante and you'd go off with your life!" Laurel yelled, confusion now boiling up with hints of fear.
Wednesday looked at Laurel, her eyes were wide open as she heard what the woman said, by pure logic, if she was here and not with Dante anymore, what was a chance of Dante's getting done something horrible went from possibility to a fact.
"You..." Wednesday mumbled as she saw Jane, her face which normally only showcased a cold facade or annoyance, was filled with an unfiltered emotion of rage.
"What did you to him!?" She yelled at Jane, the pain and bloodlost from the gunshot where bring overridden by pure frantic hate.
Jane looked at both women, her eyes scanning their expressions as she relished in the fear of Laurel and loved the hate of Wednesday, the only one who didn't look phased by her was Crackstone, only because he didn't know anything about her.
Her innocent face brushed off as a wide grin came across of perfect features, her fangs glinting as she said two words.
"Killed him."
"And now I'll do the same with you."
"To celebrate a free me, well actually..." She said before turning to see Wednesday completely.
"Just for the thrill..."
