"What about this one?" Ajax asked for the thirth time this day with a semi-casual outfit.
"You know I would've put the first one you got out of your closet so just go along with it..." I said while my eyes didn't even bother to left the screen in front me, I just started chapter 3 of Rdr2 and it's amazing.
"Fuck off..."
"Who even is the girl?"
"Enid Sinclair,she's a werewolf but I think you might remember her if I say she has her blonde hair with blue and pink highlights at the end." Ajax said fixing up his shirt on the mirror.
"Suuuure..." I said still with no idea.
"But if she's a werewolf then why getting so ready? They're literally next to us in this place..." I said remembering the howling every full moon.
"She's in the one closer to the main building,since she hasn't gotten her transformation she's able to live there."
"Just have fun dude ok?" I said pausing the game to look at Ajax who just smiled nerviosly to me.
"And with have fun I mean buy ice cream and play some games,not what we see in Werewolf reproduction..."
And that got Ajax even more red than before,fumbling with the last button of his shirt.
"Ugh..." I stood up from the ground and helped him with the last button,also fixing the neck of his shirt on the process.
"Look Ajax whatever happens don't think she doesn't want this, if she said yes so eagerly after you told her then that means this is a chance for the both of you to progess in this weird relationship you two have..." I said with a tone so mature it even surprised myself.
"You're right dude, thank you..." Ajax said,his voice calming down as he took deep breaths.
"Go get it gorgon..." I said giving him a hard pat on the back before he went through the door,not before taking his beanie off for a quick second and tried to petrificate me, which was easily reversed even before the magic could be done.
I thought that petrification would be a lot harder to reverse since it was magic,but it just works as a magic surrounding the body and then solidifying entirely in stone,which could be easily reversed returning the magic to the gorgon.
Now since I didn't want to petrificate Ajax, I returned the magic sideways so it wouldn't get to him and just lose it's properties.
"Hmmm..."
"Now that he is gone I can try what I've been thinking about for a while now..." I said out loud for no one as I got into the ground and started making push-ups.
After about 40 the pain was finally starting to appear.
But the pain was useless to me by now,just being a reminder of my condition as an immortal being.
Thus kept going until I got bored around the 200-ish push-ups, and that's when I stopped and sat down,feeling my muscles ache and scream in agony.
My face neither myself cared about it, already used to any kind of pain possible.
I softly breathed in and out,healing my muscles back and then going back to the ground and do even more push-ups.
3 hours.
"You're not going to believe this!" Ajax said opening the door,his smile wide after the having the greatest date of his life.
"Did you kissed her?"
"No but- what the fuck!" Ajax yelled watching me shirtless doing push-ups a steady quick pace,that would be normal,but the weird and disgusting thing is the damp floor under me,surely sweat.
"Dude that's disgusting clean it up!"
"Yeah I'll do it as soon as I'm done..." I muttered stopping the push ups to sit down.
I healed back my muscles,thanks to my ability to reverse things I only needed to turn back the damage and fatigue after the intense non-stop training,this allowed me to keep exercising 'at failure' with no need for recovery.
Essentially building muscle in a much faster rate,still nothing visible,but I could definitely tell my body was going to change in a short span of time.
I stood up and grabbed a towel starting to wipe the floor,the sweat reflecting perfectly the moonlight.
I looked at the window,the moon almost up,but what made it bad was it's state.
"Full moon... again..." I whispered while I stood up,the wet towel around my hand.
"You always whine about it,some people wolfing out won't kill you, you know." Ajax said while I entered the bathroom and reversed the sweat off the towel to the shower floor.
"Yeah but they're really loud,I'm more used to quiet sleeping." I said walking up to him and throwing the towel at him.
And just as I looked through the window, it started.
OUUUUUUUUUU
"Ugh fuck it I'm out." I said opening the dorm door and taking a book with me.
"Dramatic." Ajax said as I closed the door.
I walked around the halls without much care,trying to find the most secluded spot of werewolves true nature's sound.
My eyes didn't bother looking at anything in particular before my eyes caught something by the window.
I looked up into it and watched an empty terrace under the moonlight,the only problem is that if my mind isn't wrong it's connected to a dorm in the Ophelia hall.
"I can't enter through the dorm obviously..."
"But I always wanted to try climbing..." I whispered before opening the window and jumping to the campus.
After falling I watched my twisted legs and accommodated them into place before standing up and walked towards the wall.
I stared up to the really high terrace,some stone gargoyles at each corner looking down at the school grounds.
"Well this is a challenge..." I said bitting the book in my mouth so I could use both hands.
After a good 12 minutes of trial and error I finally got myself up the terrace,and it was worth it.
The moonlight shined right in the middle of the place,the light coming from the window also giving a warm light hue behind me as I took the book from my mouth.
"La Divina Comedia." I read the title,since I realized there's a lot more languages I started reading all kinds of literature in different languages,and thanks to my understanding of my very own brain, the process was fast.
Halfway through a 500 pages book I would already understand 80% of the words written in it, my ability to regenerate my own body back first needed for me to know exactly what would come back.
So the first time I lost my brain it took me months being headless while I reconstructed my brain from scrap, until it worked again and then they blowed my head again, just to see me regrow it now in just 2 hours.
Now I could do it on the span of seconds.
I sat on the ground reading the pages from the book,the howls from the werewolves were much less distracting here and I found myself involved into the book.
1 hour
"Excuse me..." I heard a female voice behind me which made me jump from the ground to stare at a teenager girl.
Blonde hair with pink and blue highlights and a sense of style I would never like.
"You must be Enid..." I muttered,not realizing how much of a creep I was being right now.
"How do you know my name...?" She said with a haunted expression, her hands opening as if she was about to get her claws out.
"Ah! Sorry! I'm Dante I'm Ajax friend and he told me about you." I said offering a hand which she shaked, still wary of me.
"And what are you doing here?"
"Reading after I found a spot where the werewolves wouldn't be so loud..." I said raising the book in my hand.
"Ah sure..." She said walking aside of me until she stopped at the stone guards, where she leaned in watching the academy halls.
"He said a lot of good things about you." I said copying her,watching the place below us.
"Really!? What did he say!?" She said turning around to me with a wide smile,which reminded me of how I met certain someone my first time here in Nevermore.
"Well he changed outfit 3 times until I told him anything would be fine, then when he came back he had the most stupid smile in the entire world..." I said remembering exactly that.
"Well I must thank you because that was the best outfit for what he planned for us today..." She said with both hands on her chin,looking at the sky.
I watched at the sky too,the moon shining over us.
"Wait..." I looked at her and then at the moon.
"He lied to me, he said you were a werewolf..." I said,turning my head back to the moon and then at her again.
"Ah well..., he didn't lie it's only that I still haven't wolfed out you see..." she said in a shy not so proud tone this time,her smile quickly wearing off.
"Ah really? I didn't know that..." I said getting my hand around my chin like I was in deep thought.
"Well then that means you're better to stick with than those werewolves, you don't know how awful it is trying to sleep with all of them howling just some meters from where you're..."
"Don't tell me about that, when I lived with my family the only thing I could do is press two pillows against my ears while five people were howling like crazy." She said with a smile remembering her family.
"Well then I think I had a much more peaceful childhood than you." I said with a smile,only if she knew.
