That same night. The academy was dark, silent. Air whistled through the hallways, giving them a eerie presence. On the second floor, in the conference room. Men were seated around a long table, and the headmaster sat at the head, his eyes looking down at his hands

The door to the conference room creaked open, and the Prime minister, flanked by several bodyguard walked in
Upon entering, his eyes immediately flew to the Headmaster, his wrinkles stitched together as he frowned. "Headmaster. Let's get on with the agenda"
The headmaster's head rose, revealing his reddened eyes for all to see. "Prime minister, take a seat." His voice trembled slightly as he stood up. He adjusted his tie, and, "the reason I called you all here is"

"As you all know, some of Central nation's most secretive files are kept in this very building, specifically regarding the specific: Super Human Sampling research
A collective gasp rippled across the room, everyone was looking at the headmaster in shock. Although they already knew, it was not something meant to be talked about, even in official meetings, especially without clearance
"Headmaster!" The Prime minister slammed his fist on the table, then glared at the headmaster. "That is not to be discussed without official clearance, what are trying to do?!"
"To ensure the safety of my wife. I've already given away one of the five files of the research"
"You did what?!"
His eyes blazed, and he moved to advance on the headmaster, but the men on the table restrained him. "Prime minister, calm down, now is not the time for this"
'This shitty old man' his head was flooded with curses, all directed at the headmaster. 'I'll f**king murder you'
"Let go! I've calmed down, let me go" he wrestled his arms free. Veins were popping out on his forehead. "One of the files is gone, Alright, what did you get for the exchange besides just guaranteed survival?"
The headmaster pressed fingers to his temples, then shook his head with a sigh

At Aki's personal villa, he woke up, took the glass of water on the nightstand, and drank
Then he got up, walked out of his room, and headed to the home gym, inside he found his sister, Chloe, holding a dumbell in one hand, and her phone in the other
"What are you doing?"
Chloe looked up at him, her finger pressing on the power button of her phone, turning it off. "Working out"
"Is the phone part of the workout"
"Little shit. Obviously not"
She got up, and handed him the dumbell, then she picked up a bag by the door and handed it to him. "I need you to deliver this"
He looked at her, raising a brow in suspicion. "What's this?"
'You don't need to know. All you have to do is deliver it to the Central military trainee camp– Barracks 22C
He took the bag, his gaze fixed on it for a long moment. Finally he looked up. "Any specifics?"
"Yes. Patricia, and don't let anyone see you"
With that, she went back to working out. He watched her for a moment, then stepped out. Outside the room, he saw Snow in the hallway, standing still, watching him
He raised his hand, making a few weird gestures with his fingers‐ Snow nodded and walked up to him, then took the bag from his hand
Minutes later
The two parkoured across the city, moving from building to building, late nights strollers would look to the directions of footsteps, only to see no one
At the edge of the city, just beyond the forest. A large wall sat surrounding a compound of buildings. Soldiers patrolling the outside, as well as the inside, watch guards up on the lookout towers, scanning the nearby forest
Up on a tree, Aki and Snow sat observing the compound, Aki scanned the walls, while Snow focused on the watch towers
"Alrigh, activate your curse. I'll take care of the women" he ruffled her hair, then left her on the tree rushing foward

In an instant, a dark aura enveloped him, and he slowly sunk into the shadows of the trees, moving across until he reached that of the wall
He looked around to see some guards approaching.

Shadow tentacles shot out from the ground, wrapping the mouths and limbs of the guards, then the tentacles slowly sank down their throats, suffocating them
The guards collapsed to the ground. And Aki rose from the shadows, Snow arrived shortly after, eyes glowing pink, "Now?"

She poked his cheek, glaring at him. "Don't kill anyone"
Only then did he remember the guards, he released the shadow from the guards, and looked down at her. "Happy?"
"Whatever" she raised a hand, a faint pink orb formed on her fingertip, before shooting up into the sky, it scattered in beams, striking at every watch tower
The guards inside, now breathing unevenly, their eyes pale, walked out, heading in the direction of the two
"Done"
"Nice. Now hold on" he grabbed her by the waist, pressing her against him

He pointed at the magic fencing, shot out a single beam of light at it, and the magic collapsed. "Let's go"
He jumped onto the wall, activating shadow habitat in the process, once on, he lifted Snow by the abdomen onto his shoulders. "Jump"

"I know, I just wanted to hold you a bit"
Snow's cheeks flushed, and she quickly flipped over the fence, he followed right behind, unbothered. The magic on the fence immediately shot out, regaining its pathway
"Come on. Let's go"
They jumped down, when they landed, they realized they were far from 22C, they were at 55D
"Shit" he pressed Snow against him, then leaned on what of the barracks, a guard soon passed right beside them, their clothes almost rubbing against each other

At the same time, inside 22C, Patricia, a young woman with blonde hair was waiting by the door, scrolling on her phone.
Her eyes, which were on the phone, gazed into the distance, her lips curving, "this kid"
The two reappeared, Snow emerging with her hair a mess, looking disheveled
'My tentacles only like me around them, so anything that's invading won't be treated well. To think they almost squeezed her to death' at this thought, he began snickering to himself, earning a kick to the shin

Just then, they heard footsteps approaching, before Aki could move, a voice called out. "Relax, before you kill me, brat"

Aki rolled his eyes dramatically, so far they looked like they'd get stuck. "She's just being extra"

He tossed the bag to her feet, then turned around. "I'll be on my way now"
