Though the original plan for his birthday was actually to go to a new posh restaurant that had very sweet and unique deserts so Riley could go nuts with his sweet tooth , things had changed.
Instead , he decided to stay because of the sudden sign in from the system and now he was going to watch movies and eat junk food the whole night.
"Hey Esme , have you ever thought of having your own life and following your dreams."
The question silenced their conversation that had started when Scream 2 became abit too predictable and both of them debated removing it.
A thoughtful expression appeared on Esme's honestly very accurate human disguise for a few seconds then she smiled with her signature calm knowing smile and replied.
"I used to be an ordinary mortal once and though I don't remember my life by then , I know that I wouldn't be here or this powerful without your mother."
Riley was surprised and gestured for her to continue.
"After becoming a Draugr , I lost my memories , almost all of my consciousness and basically became a monster in everyday.
I would have remained that way if your mother didn't find me and evolve my body and soul with rituals and her magic experiments.
Though she only required a weapon , she still saved the little of me that was left so I am grateful to her which is why I asked for this contract.
My soul was not bound to you by force , I asked for the most permanent Familiar spell possible inorder for me to remain by your side as long as you live and that is my purpose."
The conviction in her gaze proved that Esme was completely serious about this and had committed without a single shred of doubt in her mind at all.
"Well , then I guess you are stuck with me forever."
She smiled and patted Riley's head as she had been doing for a while now then pulled out another bar of chocolate handing it to Riley.
'She still treats me like her little sibling despite sticking with the master title. What is with that?"
Riley kept his thoughts to himself though since his view of Esme had already changed overtime. He had thought having a familiar was like having a pet but Esme was way more like a big sister who couldn't disobey him and actually wanted to do whatever he said.
Infact , Riley had already decided that he would try and see if rewards could be shared to others so that Esme also grew stronger with him.
The night continued with Riley soon cutting his cake so late that it was basically the next day already but he didn't care and they still enjoyed it either way.
Finally , at about 4 in the morning , both Riley and Esme decided to go to bed so while everyone was beginning their day , the two slipped into the comfort of their beds and fell asleep almost immediately.

Meanwhile , on Mount Olympus , a handsome tanned man relaxed on the balcony of his personal tower with a drink in his hand.
He was visibly at peace and relaxed with a smile on his face as he thought about a certain daughter of Loki with a visible glimmer in his eye.
"Apollo , come to the throne room now."
The loud voice which literally made the walls tremble like real thunder broke him out of his thoughts and his smile faded into a confused frown before he sighed and vanished with a pulse of golden light.
Apollo reappeared in the hall of the Gods , having automatically grown to his towering form , and sat on his throne without ceremony.
The only other person in the room was a white tall and muscular man in a pure white Royal Robe and with two vibrant blue eyes highlighting his long smooth brown hair and beard.
It was Zeus , the great thunderer humself.
At first Apollo assumed that his father wanted to speak to him alone but suddenly light flashed in each of the other throne and the rest of the Gods appeared except for Dionysus who remained under banishment.
"Zeus , why have you summoned everyone together."
A hint of irritation flashed in Zeus' eyes at Hera's question but he ultimately chose to ignore it and directly revealed the reason.
"The monsters have escaped Tartarus in larger numbers , that means that demigods outside of the camp are in more danger.
What you choose to do with that information is ultimately up to all of you but the rule against direct interference remains."
With that he waved his hand to dismiss them so everyone disappeared and went on with their divine duties or whatever they were doing.
Though the news barely phased Apollo , he wondered wether he could earn some extra points with Edith if he told her. Despite her initial lack of interest in motherhood , he could tell that she had grown quite fond of that child.
The Sun God didn't know it himself but , his actions were obvious signs of something dangerously close to love.
While Apollo thought about what he could do to get some alone time with Riley's mother , the rest of the Gods were looking for more long lasting distractions.
The fact that the usually arrogant , selfish and uncaring King had given them a warning could only mean one thing. Zeus had once again gotten involved with a mortal.
This would obviously lead to chaos on Olympus and the mortal world. The legendary wrath of Hera would be ignited again and someone was going to have to pay a serious price.
Because of this , no one wanted to be in the immediate vicinity of the God king or his wife since they didn't want to be involved in whatever came next.

Completely unaware of these signs that signified the geninning of Percy Jackson's legendary adventures and Destiny , Riley was holed up in his training Arena. (Official name of the colliseum shaped open air training grounds)
At the moment , Riley was moving across the training Arena at breakneck speed while elementalized with the light fruit powers.
So far , the only difference was that his light was far more powerful since it had now achieved near full fusion with the solar essence and Divine power though still remaining as an extra reservoir of power which was generated from his natural Stamina.
Basically, he could burn his Stamina to generate this terrifying fusion energy whenever he wished to , or just use the natural reserves in his cells.
At this point , Riley's fusion rate with the template was already at 98% and he expected to get to 100 soon. The difference ultimately remained almost insignificant since he had the navy six styles , Kizaru's complete fighting style , Pika Pika no mi powers mastered basically to the admiral's level , Observation Haki , Armament Haki and the admiral's inhuman physical capabilities.
He was way above most non immortal beings at the moment.
Along with that were terrifying physical stats , Divine abilities , Magical abilities and Celestial Dragon abilities. This made Riley pretty confident to survive most battles in the first world he would visit.
