"I want you to tell me now" Hailey said after a while, her eyes still red from crying.
"Are you sure?" Hardin asked because he could see the pain in her eyes.
"I don't really know what's going on but I do know Cole deceived me because of you" she said and Hardin felt his chest tightened, she was right, Cole was doing this because of him.
"Alright" he said after a while and he told her everything from the beginning, how he started off by treating her badly because of revenge and all, Lucy's arrival and everything.
Hailey just stared in shock, she couldn't even bring herself to speak, she didn't even know what to make of her emotions at the moment.
She felt a striking pain on her head and she held on to it, fragments of her memories rushed in as she tried her best to remember but her head was hurting like crazy.
"Are you okay?" Hardin asked, his voice laced with worry and he held her but she didn't seem like she was fine at all till she passed out and Hardin panicked.
"Hailey?" He called and when he got no reply he quickly called the guard outside and she was taken to the hospital.

Hardin stared anxiously at an unconscious Hailey, she has been unconscious for days, the doctor said the pills she was taking to seal her memories were also damaging her brain.
When she tried to remember those memories that were being locked up, her brain couldn't take it so she passed out.
She has been unconscious and the doctors couldn't do anything more than giving her injections to help with the Brain damage but it would be a slim case if she would be able to recover her lost memories.
Hardin sighed with the thought alone and he didn't know what to do, his phone rang, it was Mark calling.
Faye probably wanted to know Hailey's condition, he told them everything that has happened throughout his stay in Australia and Faye was so mad she wanted to come to Australia but he was against it.
The last thing he wants is to over crowd Hailey with
information and Faye would do just that cause Faye didn't really know when to stay quiet.
"What is it?" He asked immediately if he picked up the phone.
"How is she doing? Has she woken up yet?" Faye asked hurriedly.
"One question at a time" Mark chipped in.
"She hasn't woken up yet" Hardin replied simply and Faye sighed.
"Are you sure I wouldn't go to Australia?" Faye said she was obviously talking to her husband.
"You don't need to come," Hardin replied and hung up.
He knew she would say something offensive if he had met her and he wasn't in the mood.
Hailey's fingers moved a little and Hardin noticed it, he looked at her intently, waiting for her to open her eyes and her eyes moved a little before it opened a bit.
Her eyes turned to him as he looked at her like he was searching for something on her face.
"Hardin?" She asked in a low and weak voice.
Hardin quickly left the hospital ward to call the doctor, he came back seconds later with the doctor who performed some checks on her, she was fully awake by now.
"Are you okay?" Hardin asked as the doctor did his job and Hailey nodded a little.
"You don't need to talk, your throat is dry" the doctor said and she nodded, he injected a syringe into her drip.
"do you remember anything?" Hardin asked.
"Please don't force her, with the damages done to her brain it would be hard for her to remember anything" the doctor said.
"But I remember everything" Hailey spoke and Hardin blinked.
"Everything?" He asked and she nodded.
"I will run some tests, I will be back" the doctor said as left.
"Are you sure you remember?" Hardin asked, taking her hand in his and she smiled at him before nodding.
The relief that covered his face was overwhelming.
"I'm so sorry, I'm glad you're okay, I don't know what I would do without you," Hardin said softly.
"You don't have to apologize, we would be fine now" Hailey said slowly, she still couldn't speak well though.
"Things wouldn't have turned out like this if not for me, you wouldn't have suffered so much" Hardin said again.
"You got your share of suffering too if I remember correctly" Hailey said and Hardin laughed a little.
"I made a choice when you presented me with divorce papers and i wouldn't go back on it, we would make things work even though it seems impossible" Hailey said.
"It won't be impossible if we try" Hardin replied and Hailey smiled.

"What do you mean you can't contact him?" Cole yelled at his assistant.
"We have been trying but it's not working" his assistant replied and Cole frowned.
"Fine then, if he decides to shut me out, I will show him not to mess with me, take his sister" Cole said but the man remained unmoved.
"What are you waiting for?!" Cole yelled.
"We couldn't only contact him but it's like he vanished" the man spoke fearfully.
"What?" Cole yelled again.
"It seems Hardin found out he was a spy and killed him" the man said and Cole groaned in anger.
"He didn't kill him, he probably hid him so I wouldn't find him, that bastàrd!!!" Cole yelled.
"And Lucy is dead too?" Cole asked and the man nodded.
"We found her body by a river bank in New York" the man spoke and Cole ran his hands through his hair frustratingly.
"Are you really shocked that all your games have fallen?" Hardin's voice was heard and Cole quickly turned towards his direction.
"What are you doing here?"
Cole stood up as Hardin walked towards him slowly. He was shocked at how Hardin was able to enter his Villa.
"I'm sorry for interrupting your frustrating mood but we need to end things properly" Hardin replied.
"End things properly? Do you know one mistake?"
Cole asked and when he saw Hardin wasn't interested in saying anything he decided to speak.
"Not killing you" Cole said through gritting teeth.
