The [Vimana] shot through the sky like a bolt of lightning. At such a speed, if it were to fly low to the ground, the resulting sonic boom would have shattered the ice across vast areas.
As they approached the royal city of Jotunheim, Han Shaoqing controlled the [Vimana] to decelerate, gliding smoothly just above the icy surface.
Seated on his throne, Han Shaoqing took in the unique sights of Jotunheim's city of ice and snow.
The surrounding area was a desolate landscape of howling winds and jagged rocks. Polished stone pillars stood tall in many places, while others lay in ruins, lending the city a dilapidated and desolate air.
The central Ice Snow City was exceptionally grand and imposing, carved almost entirely out of a hollowed-out mountain. It was even taller and more majestic than the temples of the Vajra tribe.
Han Shaoqing gazed at the scenery, while Esdeath watched him, her thoughts unreadable.
*Whoosh—*
Just as the [Vimana] drew near the Ice Snow City, the ice ahead suddenly burst open. A Frost Giant Beast, over forty meters tall, erupted from the depths. It lunged forward, its massive maw agape, revealing razor-sharp fangs as it snapped at the [Vimana].
The Frost Giant Beasts served as the watchdogs of the Frost Giants. They resembled oversized Pit Bulls, but with a far more ferocious appearance.
Their skin was a glacial blue, their fangs were razor-sharp, and their eyes glowed blood-red.
In terms of strength, the Frost Giant Beasts were formidable. While they were no match for a powerhouse like Thor, they could easily defeat the Three Warriors of Asgard.
Han Shaoqing spared them a passing glance before dismissing them from his thoughts.
Standing on the *Vimana*, Esdeath drew her saber and fixed her gaze on the Frost Giant Beast. "A Frost Giant Beast from Jotunheim? Let's see how your strength compares to the Danger Species."
As she spoke, a chilling aura erupted from her body. She swung her saber horizontally, instantly unleashing a blue flash of light that sliced through the beast's massive form.
A flicker of astonishment crossed the Frost Giant Beast's blood-red eyes as its movements froze.
*Snap.*
Esdeath snapped her fingers.
In that instant, the beast's entire body split in two. Its flesh rapidly froze into ice before it crashed heavily onto the frozen plains below.
"Not so impressive after all," Esdeath remarked, a smug smile playing on her lips.
Han Shaoqing had killed Frost Giant Beasts in Asgard before, even standing atop their heads, but he had never received a Check-in notification.
The Frost Giant Beast before him was much larger, potentially meeting the requirements. With a hopeful heart, Han Shaoqing teleported directly onto its head.
[Ding! Host is currently on top of the Frost Giant King, meeting the Check-in conditions. Would you like to Check-in?]
*Check-in,* Han Shaoqing thought silently.
[Checking-in... Countdown: 10, 9, 8... 3, 2, 1. Check-in successful! Congratulations, Host, you have obtained—an Asauchi from the Soul Reaper World.]
[Asauchi: An initial-form Zanpakuto. After imprinting one's soul upon it, the wielder can learn the Zanpakuto's name and gain power through spiritual communication. The sword's shape and size depend on the individual's circumstances and personality.]
[Would you like to claim the reward?]
*Claim,* Han Shaoqing thought.
A plain katana materialized before him.
As it was a raw Asauchi, its design was unremarkable, lacking the ornate and diverse forms of the Zanpakuto wielded by the Shinigami Captains. Abilities like Shikai and Bankai would all depend on the user's own development.
*Shring—*
Han Shaoqing drew the Asauchi and inspected it. The blade was as smooth as a mirror and still reasonably sharp.
He had no interest in the Asauchi itself. His current strength had long since surpassed the limits of the Shinigami World, making the blade useless to him.
"Esdeath, this sword is for you. Once you imprint your own spiritual essence into it, you can create your own Zanpakutō."
Han Shaoqing casually handed the Asauchi to Esdeath.
"This is the first gift Master has ever given me. I will cherish it forever."
Esdeath knew nothing of Zanpakutō. Holding the Asauchi, she looked both thrilled and shy. She turned and pressed her lips against Han Shaoqing's, her entire body clinging to him.

It was so sudden. One could only say that Esdeath was a woman of passion—when she loved, she acted.
Perhaps she had been waiting for this exact opportunity, simply following her instincts.
A "Sea King" like Han Shaoqing would never refuse such a windfall of affection.
After a long moment, their lips parted. Han Shaoqing, refusing to accept his good fortune, said, "Isn't this moving a bit too fast?"
"Not too fast. Tonight, let's find a room, just the two of us alone..."
Esdeath was at the prime age of her youth, brimming with a desire for romance. Her way of thinking was also far from ordinary. But before she could utter the rest of her suggestive words, a group of Frost Giants from the Ice Snow City charged out.
Though the Frost Giants had been beaten into submission by "Loki," they were still incredibly brave when facing Han Shaoqing and Esdeath, whom they had never seen before. They roared "Ura! Ura!" as they rushed forward.
Interrupted, Esdeath was furious. She turned, her face contorting into a terrifying expression. Despite her anger, a strange smile crept onto her lips as she looked at the charging Frost Giants, her gaze murderous. "What an unlucky bunch. How dare they interrupt my good time. I'll slaughter you all!"
*Swish!*
The Frost Giants charged forward with fierce momentum. But in the next instant, Esdeath leaped from the Vimana. With a flash of her blade, over twenty Frost Giants were sliced into a pile of "Wang Wang Ice Pops" in the blink of an eye!
Judging by Esdeath's display of power, Han Shaoqing estimated that Thor, without awakening the Power of the Thunder God, was far from her level.
At the very least, Thor would definitely not be able to easily annihilate over twenty Frost Giants in a single strike.
It would be a different story after his awakening.
The other Frost Giants were also startled.
*This little bitch is way too ferocious!*
One of the Frost Giants slammed its fist into the ground, and ice spread across the surface, transforming into a field of ice spikes that shot toward them.
Esdeath sheathed her Asauchi at her waist, waved her hand, and a massive ice pillar surged from beneath her feet, propelling her into the air.
Glancing at Han Shaoqing from the corner of her eye, Esdeath intended to showcase her strength to make him like her even more.
Three Frost Giants charged from different angles.
Esdeath pressed her hand against the ice surface. "Gray Ice Giant Horns."
Three sharp ice spikes shot out from the pillar, skewering two of the Frost Giants through the heart.
The other Frost Giant dodged the ice spikes and slammed into the ice pillar.
*Boom—*
The impact shattered the pillar's base, sending it crashing down.
"I'll grant you the death you deserve."
Esdeath leaped from the pillar and snapped her fingers mid-air.
"Roaring Leap!"
A massive ice sphere, like a falling meteor, materialized in the sky. It descended with the weight of Mount Tai, crushing the Frost Giant below into powder.
Esdeath landed, her stiletto heel stepping directly onto the Frost Giant's head and shattering it. A bloodthirsty, exhilarated sneer twisted her lips, causing the other Frost Giants—who had been poised to attack—to mutter in unison: "Too dangerous! We're out!"
They then scrambled away, hiding in terror and refusing to show their faces again.
