They clearly all heard Nezu.
They knew what the request meant. It wasn't a request in the first place — it was a warning. If something ever happened, Kujas would not be blamed. U.A. itself would take the blame.
They shook their heads.
This was the difference between a mid-tier and a high-class academy. Those who entered here, especially those with special circumstances, would need things — and would request things — from the school.
Then the old man beside All Might spoke.
"But this lad is rare… a random examinee that has an initial D with him."
Some teachers had heard about it. Some knew one or two things.
That earned nods from the others as whispers spread through the room.
"From the D Clan… really a rare encounter."
"Not one, actually," Nezu whispered.
That, of course, earned mixed reactions.
Before anyone could ask further, Nezu calmly said, "Then we will place him in Class A for now."
Mabui pressed the next button.
A pink-haired girl with long pink hair appeared on the projection.
It was Mina Ashido.
After watching her performance — the way she used her Quirk to her advantage — they voted to place her in Class B. It was high enough, considering the gap between the early examinees like Sung-Sun and Apacci. The power level just hit differently.
Unless she goes through an Authority Evolution.
(Where Maki answered that it was an evolution of an Authority.)
Next up was an orange-haired guy with a massive sword — big as hell.
Yoruichi recognized him as the one who had intensely stared at her with those bewildered eyes.
They watched his performance. His massive sword sliced through the monsters, cutting them clean in half. He used both hands to swing it. They saw the raw power in his simple slashes, and they noticed his improvement as the battle progressed.
His score was barely passable — 36/70.
They also saw that he possessed an Authority over Spirituality, which was a rare find. And because he was a man, the teachers observed the massive sword he wielded and understood that his Spirituality must be strong for a weapon like that to take shape.
They also noticed the cocky smirk on his face and the sharpness in his eyes — like he was praising himself. A natural response for someone like him.
This time, all the votes went to Class A.
Even though he barely passed, he was strong. At U.A., they could guide him and provide him with more experience.
They didn't dare put him in Class S. From the clips, they could tell he had his own pride. He was reckless, and that wouldn't be a good combination.
Maybe next year, if he improved, Class S would be an easy thing to reach.
The projection flickered again.
A red-haired woman appeared.
It was Riruka Dokugamine.
Her ability amazed them. They saw that she was a Fullbringer — which shocked them again. Who doesn't know about the race called Fullbringers? It is said that they carry fragments of the Soul King within them, granting abilities that manifest from birth.
Just like Riruka's Dollhouse ability.
The concept was absurd.
But her personality and compatibility needed improvement. Even her score was low, which was why she was placed in Class A for now.
The voting continued.
A girl with vine-like hair — Ibara Shiozaki — was placed in Class B. Her ability was good for both combat and support, but it lacked raw power. Still, her control aided her in battle.
A little purple ball dude was placed in Class C for some reason.
A cheap version of Colossus was put in Class A. His voice was loud as hell, but his tenacity and will were unending. He charged toward enemies, showing his resolve.
A guy with a comic-like mutant face was placed in Class C. When he spoke, comic-style words materialized from his mouth.
A purple guy — Aizawa's disciple — was placed in Class A.
Tokoyami was also placed in Class A, but they needed to stay on guard in case he lost control like he had in one of the clips, which was only resolved by the monitors.
Temari was placed in Class A as well. With her wind techniques and massive fan that could even produce tornadoes, her ability and control showed complete mastery over her power.
Another blonde guy was seen being resourceful, stealing Quirks and using them perfectly in battle. But it seemed he couldn't copy Authorities.
The teachers had noticed that most of the examinees were using Quirks. They could see the power and utility of their abilities. That was why over 60% of the population possessed Quirks — showing how easily genetics worked within human DNA.
Then the projection displayed the profile of a blonde guy.
When they read his information, they raised their eyebrows.
"What a fellow," Mei said while reading the projection.
"Yeah," Mabui replied. "Same with karin."
"Another uzumaki," Kurenai said.
