Chapter 81 - 81 SUPERMAN

They all took their seats on the sofas arranged around the transparent round table.

Each had their preferred beverage.

Nezu had tea in a porcelain cup.

All Might had a latte.

Naomasa had black coffee.

Makoto had green tea.

Mei and Nemuri were drinking tea as well.

Unohana had black coffee—just like Maki.

Snacks were placed neatly on the table.

Then Maki noticed the yellow Haired Man.. He then stood up from his seat.

The yellow man was tall and muscular.

Maki approached him and he extended his hand for a handshake.

"It's nice to finally meet you… Superman!" he muttered.

Everyone watched as he greeted All Might.

Superman?

Why did he call him that?

All Might looked surprised, then smiled and gave him a firm handshake.

"Hahaha! Now that's a good hero name—Superman!" All Might laughed.

"Yes, it is," Maki replied. "Oh, sorry. I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Maki."

"Maki? Hahaha! I already know that, Young Maki. You can call me All Might… or Toshinori Yagi."

"Then I'll call you All Might angak."

All Might didn't know what that meant, but he gave him a thumbs up anyway.

It wasn't just the nickname. It was also the earlier "Superman."

All Might didn't know what Superman was, but this young man radiated positive energy.

While shaking his hand, he could feel it—the toughness and firmness of his hand.

They greeted each other casually, as if this wasn't a prestigious academy but a family reunion.

After another short break and the greetings—

Nezu asked, "Maki, are you ready?"

Maki nodded.

"Naomasa, please," Nezu said.

Naomasa placed the file containing Maki's information on the table.

"It's a pleasure to meet you. You can call me Naomasa. I'll be in charge of the questioning. You don't have to answer anything you don't want to. But if you do answer, make sure it's the truth."

"I understand," Maki replied.

The others stayed silent as the interview began.

Nemuri and Mei wanted to know more about him.

Nezu and All Might were curious as well.

Unohana wasn't worried—she only needed to listen.

Makoto felt strangely shy but kept her focus.

Naomasa took the lead.

Nezu handed Naomasa a document containing prepared questions.

Naomasa straightened his posture, adjusted the papers, and clicked his silver pen.

"Let's start."

"Please state your full name."

That single question made everyone in the room tense.

"Full name?" Maki asked.

"Yes," Naomasa replied, staring at him.

"Maki D. Ne'nadia."

"D?"

Unohana froze.

Her serious blue eyes shifted toward him.

Naomasa nodded and wrote it down.

Nezu and All Might remained silent.

They had heard of it before.

The D Family.

They didn't know much—only whispers. Those with "D" in their name were said to be monsters in strength, tied to a mysterious and ancient history.

Nemuri whispered his full name under her breath.

Mei was already daydreaming, imagining changing her last name to his.

Makoto simply observed in silence.

Naomasa finished writing his name and skipped the basic questions already filled out.

"What about your hometown?"

Maki looked at him.

"On the southwest coast of Disko Bay—the Iceberg Coast."

Eyebrows rose.

Naomasa nodded and wrote it down.

They didn't pry further. A location was enough to begin tracing records later.

Naomasa looked at him again.

"What about your parents?"

At that question, Maki closed his eyes and lowered his head.

"Not here," he whispered.

Silence filled the room.

Even their breathing seemed to fade.

Naomasa nodded respectfully. "Forgive me for asking."

He wrote down the response.

"When is your birth date?"

"April 24."

Naomasa wrote it down.

The others silently memorized the date—especially Mei, Unohana, and Makoto. Nemuri already knew.

Naomasa continued.

"It says here that Nemuri found you while she was on her way home. Is that correct?"

Maki nodded.

"Do you remember how she found you?"

"I fell," he answered.

"From where?"

"From the sky."

The words were casual.

But everyone heard them clearly.

From the sky?

Naomasa widened his eyes slightly.

"I see."

He wrote it down.

"Do you know what happened before you fell from the sky?"

"There was the sea," Maki said.

Again, confusion spread through the room.

Naomasa simply nodded and recorded the answer.

Then he picked up the second sheet Nezu had given him.

As he read it, his eyebrows rose.

He looked at Nezu and All Might.

They both nodded.

Naomasa swallowed.

"Maki… do you know what your powers can do?"

Maki still had his eyes closed.

"A little."

"What I'm about to ask relates to that. Just answer what you can."

"I understand."

Naomasa glanced at everyone in the room.

They nodded.

Except Makoto.

She knew something serious was about to unfold.

Naomasa inhaled.

"Maki… you have the ability to use wood, correct?"

"I do."

"Can you explain in detail what this power can do?"

"I don't know much," Maki said. "But I can shape it into anything I want."

"Did anyone guide you? Teach you anything about it?" Naomasa asked, eyes fully focused on him.

Maki hesitated.

He remembered fragments—bits of knowledge that seemed implanted.

Should he mention the system?

Maybe not.

Naomasa had asked if anyone guided him.

In his mind, he muttered:

Forgive me, old unc.... I need to use your name.

It wasn't entirely a lie. He had learned how to use woods from watching the fragments of him doing his wood techniques.

Then he answered.

And the moment they heard it—

Eyes widened.

Shock spread across every face in the room.

"It was… Hashirama Senju."
