Chapter 60 - 60 SHAKU—

(゜o゜)\(-_-)

U.A. Academy.

It was a skyscraper with fifty floors, built in the shape of the letter H.

The left wing contained the classrooms, teachers' faculty offices, the principal's office, the canteen, and all the academic facilities needed for a prestigious institution like U.A. The right wing was dedicated to the students and everything they required.

On the forty-eighth floor of the left wing was the meeting room.

A large round table stood at the very center, surrounded by fifty chairs. This entire floor was dedicated solely to meetings and faculty gatherings to discuss important matters.

Gion, Yoruichi, Unohana, Mei, Nemuri, Present Mic, and Aizawa were already seated in their respective chairs.

Beside them, the Dean of the Academy sat on a man's broad shoulder.

The Dean of U.A. Academy—was he a mouse? A dog? A bear?

No.

He was Principal Nezu.

He was a rare case of an animal—specifically a chimera—possessing a Quirk that granted him intelligence far surpassing that of any human.

Nezu was a small, anthropomorphic creature whose exact species remained a running joke. He had white fur, a long tail, and black eyes with a distinctive scar over his right eye—a lingering mark from human experimentation. He was almost always dressed impeccably in a high-end three-piece suit, complete with a white shirt, a red waistcoat, and a black tie.

Nezu was a fascinating mix of a polite, sophisticated educator and a slightly unhinged strategist.

Just slightly.

NEZU

High Spec —

His Quirk allowed him to live as a sentient being with extreme cognitive capabilities, even in battle.

And his favorite line was:

"Am I a mouse? A dog? A bear? The only thing that matters is… I'm the Principal!"

Nezu was sitting on the shoulder of a man Maki once called the "Superman of this world."

He was the Number One Hero.

He was—

"ALL RIGHT! Let's start the meeting!" Present Mic interrupted before the introduction could continue.

The man was All Might.

Real name: Toshinori Yagi.

Known as the "Symbol of Peace."

He looked like a classic Golden Age Western comic book superhero—towering and impossibly muscular at 220 cm, roughly 7'3".

He had chiseled features with heavy shadows under his brow, making his eyes appear like glowing blue dots. His bright blonde hair formed two distinct tufts that stuck up like antennae.

He wore a red, white, and blue suit with bold yellow stripes that blended with his hair.

He was boisterous, cheerful, and incredibly confident. His catchphrase, "I am here!", instantly dispelled fear in civilians. He smiled constantly—not because he was always happy, but to hide his own fear and the pressure placed upon him.

Beside him sat another figure, cross-legged, smoking a cigarette.

Her presence was tempting and commanding.

She had long, dark, wavy hair cascading down her back, sharp eyes, and slightly plump lips. Many noted she possessed a classic beauty, but with a fiercer, more rebellious edge.

She wore traditional yet revealing clothing. A cropped top with a cut down the middle revealed the sides of her chest, her slim waist, and her belly button. A cape rested over her shoulders, giving her an empress-like aura that reflected her status as a leader.

She was Shakuyaku of the Kuja Family.

She was here for one reason—

"HEEEY! WHY AIN'T THE MEETING STARTING? WE'RE WASTING TIME HERE!" Present Mic shouted.

"We're still waiting for the others," someone replied.

"Aren't they watching over the other chambers?" Nemuri asked while sipping her tea.

"Well, this discussion isn't only about the earlier incident," Nezu continued calmly. "However, we cannot wait too long. The examinees outside are still restless and want to know what will happen next."

"Is there something serious to talk about?" Mei asked.

"Yes. We'll discuss it in detail once everyone has gathered," Nezu replied. "For now, let's continue."

He looked toward Nemuri with a small smile.

"I reviewed the footage from earlier. I must say, Nemuri, I'm quite surprised your child is that strong."

"My child?" Nemuri repeated.

The other women, who understood what Maki meant to her, chuckled softly.

Nezu blinked.

"Why the reaction? Did I say something wrong?"

Just a second passed.

Nezu had already deciphered everything from Nemuri's silence and the others' chuckling.

His paw, holding the teacup, trembled slightly.

He looked at Nemuri.

"Midnight… do you want me to call the FBI?" he asked jokingly.

All Might, Shakuyaku, and Aizawa—who knew nothing about this—simply raised their eyebrows.

"Principal Nezu, enough with the jokes. Let's finish this," Mabui said firmly.

"You're on her side, Mabui?" Nezu sighed dramatically, then continued, "Very well. As I said earlier… please play the video."

Mabui stood from her seat and retrieved a round disk-like device—a projector.

She pressed the center of the disk and pushed it toward the middle of the table.

The disk twitched.

A white light shot upward from its center, expanding into a translucent blue sphere.

And within the center of that transparent sphere—

A video of a man appeared.
