After dropping Bastian back at his residence, Flint could finally sit with his beloved woman to his heart's content. There was no need to stare at each other through the rearview mirror. As he drove, he gazed at her with sparkling eyes. If only he hadn't rejected her earlier kiss, he would have experienced this kind of happiness much sooner.
