"I told you to manage your curse energy better!"
"I told you I don't know how!"
It was the oddest feeling, having your cursed energy depleted. Matteo didn't feel physically or mentally tired, but he did feel like something in his body was missing.
Even with Kugisaki's cursed technique taking more cursed energy to use, her greater cursed energy control left her much better off than Matteo was.
"I think they might be thinning," Matteo said.
The masks and eye curses had slowly but surely been thinned out by Matteo and Kugisaki.
"Agreed, good thing too, I'm about out of nails," Kugisaki agreed.
From out of the darkness, new curses emerged from the darkness. Three of them were like large mushrooms with eyes on their caps, while one of them was a huge, bright blue, shelled roly-poly bug with two large arms and a mouth.
'I forgot about these!' Matteo thought.
The bug then took a swipe at Matteo, but before it could grab him, Kugisaki pushed him out of the way, leading the curse to grab Kugisaki.
"You better be right about Fushiguro!" Kugisaki yelled out as she was brought up to the curse's mouth.
Though before Kugisaki could get eaten, a frog's tongue grabbed her and pulled her back, a white snake then bit the curse on its side.
"We're out of here, now! Let's go!" Fushiguro called out, standing next to his frog as it brought Kugisaki into its mouth.
"You owe me one," Kugisaki told Matteo as he began to run towards Fushiguro.
"Yeah I do," Matteo replied.

"Where's Itadori?" Matteo asked while running with Fushiguro.
Kugisaki was being carried along by the frog Fushiguro summoned. The bug curses attack wounded her more than she expected.
"I thought you would know," Fushiguro responded.
"I thought making a deal with Sukuna would fix the thing with the cursed spirit, so what went wrong?" Matteo asked.
"Every time Itadori switched with Sukuna, Sukuna just switched back," Fushiguro explained, "So Itadori hung back, hoping that putting his own life on the line would convince Sukuna to fight," he continued.
'Well, as long as he can't hurt anybody' Matteo thought.
It didn't take too long to get to the exit. With the cursed spirit occupied, it couldn't swap around the rooms. As soon as they got outside, Fushiguro quickly summoned his remaining wolf and made it howl.
After, Fushiguro quickly put his frog back in his shadow while picking up Kugisaki and putting her in the assistant manager's car.
And as Fushiguro began to talk to the manager, Matteo stood farther away while looking at the building.
The assistant manager soon took Kugisaki to a hospital, and Fushiguro walked up to Matteo. Suddenly , the innate domain closed.
"Yeah, sorry, but he isn't going to be coming back," a voice behind both Fushiguro and Matteo said.
Turning around, they both faced the King of Curses.
"Now, you're the one who got the kid to make a deal with me, right?" Sukuna said, walking past Matteo.
'The deal's still in place, he shouldn't be able to attack anyone' Matteo thought while looking at Sukuna.
"Here, I want to give you a gift," Sukuna said, turning to Matteo.

Sukuna's fist flew into Matteo faster than he could react. It landed straight into Matteo's stomach, sending him flying back through a nearby fence.
After flying through the fence and hitting the ground, Matteo took a deep breath to replace the air Sukuna just punched out of him.
'How!' Matteo thought, looking up.
"You may know all about deals, but the kid doesn't, so I annoyed him until he let me add an extra minute to our swap agreement, but I did 'forget' to add the part about me not being able to hurt anyone," Sukuna told Matteo with a large smile.
'He paved over the binding vow with another one that helped him more! Itadori, I swear I'll take you to law school if I get out of this' Matteo thought, getting up.
"And with the kid having trouble switching back, I get to do whatever I want," Sukuna said, "But then, no matter what he did, this would have ended up the same," he explained while tearing his shirt off.
'I need to do something, he's about to take Itadori's heart out! The he'll see Fushiguro in action and be interested in him!' Matteo thought, starting to stand up.
Despite the hit, Matteo was able to stand.
'He took it easy on me, he still must want more' Matteo thought, 'So I'll give him what he wants'
"So," Sukuna began to say.
"Your next line is!" Matteo said, puffing his chest out, "I've been thinking about the different ways I can do this!" he quoted.
"I've been thinking about the different ways I can do this!" Sukuna yelled while putting his hand out.
"!"
"What did you say?" Sukuna asked, putting all four of his eyes on Matteo.
"What? Have you never been predicted before?" Matteo asked the King of Curses.
As Sukuna looked at Matteo, he noticed that a part of his uniform was ripped, and he could see a little thing on his shoulder. It was a small purple star.
Sukuna then took the hand he held up, before using it to cover his face, and laugh.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! THE WORLD MUST TRULY LOVE ME SO!" Sukuna yelled out while stretching his hands to his side, "FOR TODAY I AM FREE, AND I GET TO KILL THE DESCENDANT OF JOESPEH JOESTAR!" he yelled.
"What?"

It was a massacre; every man, woman, and child in the village was killed without remorse.
And when they prayed to their mountain spirits, their killer just laughed, and when the mountain spirit decided on their butcher to protect the people of the village, they were killed as well.
But what did they expect? They faced the King of Curse, the strongest of their era, Ryomen Sukuna. With four arms and two mouths, he could use cursed energy faster than any other sorcerer alive.
He stood on the mountain of bodies he made, displeased. For when he looked up to the mountain behind him, he saw it looming over him, so he decided to cut it down.
"Ryomen Sukuna!" someone yelled out before he could enact his mountain cutting plans, "Before the sun rises today, I will make sure you will not harm another soul!" he told.
Hearing someone blabbering, Sukuna turned to the noise.
It was a rather tall and buff man with purple hair and a scarf. He was standing at the bottom of the mountain of bodies.
"You see me here and you dare to-"
"Huh?" the man yelled out, cuffing his ear, "Sorry, I can't hear you that well from all the way down here," the man said.
"You see me now-" Sukuna said louder.
"Huuuuuh?" the man said again.
Annoyed, Sukuna jumped down from the bodies. He landed directly in front of the man; Sukuna was almost an entire head taller.
"For a walking dead man, you are extremely confident," Sukuna said, looking the man dead in the eyes.
"I'm sorry, one more time?" the man said, turning his ear to Sukuna, "My Japanese isn't so good, so I didn't quite understand you, I thought you said that I was the dead man in this situation," the man responded.
"I will enjoy this," Sukuna said.
"Enjoy it while you can, for I, Joesph Joestar, will be the one to take you down!" he said pointing at Sukuna
