Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 – The World Finds Out

The tailoring center was small, but its heart was big.

Every morning, poor girls came with torn dreams and left with stitched confidence.

Meera taught them how to sew.

Aarav taught them how to believe.

No one knew his past.

To them, he was just Meera's husband.

The man who served tea.

The man who fixed broken chairs.

The man who smiled too easily.

One afternoon, a black car stopped outside the center.

Men in suits stepped out.

The street froze.

Aarav's heart knew the danger before his eyes did.

A journalist pushed a camera forward.

Mr. Aarav Malhotra! The world thinks you disappeared. Are you hiding here?

Meera turned pale.

What is he saying? she whispered.

The camera flashed.

Is it true that you were once India's youngest billionaire?

Why did you leave your empire?

Who is this woman?

Silence.

Aarav looked at Meera.

Not as a rich man.

Not as a powerful man.

But as a man asking permission to tell the truth.

He held her hand.

Yes, he said to the cameras.

I was a billionaire.

And I left because I found something more valuable.

He looked at Meera.

My wife.

The reporter laughed.

You left billions for a poor woman?

Meera's eyes burned.

I am not poor, she said.

I am honest.

The camera stopped.

That night, the news spread:

Billionaire Who Chose Love Over Empire

People came to see them.

Some with respect.

Some with doubt.

Old business partners offered Aarav money again.

Come back, they begged.

Meera waited for his answer.

I won't go back, he said.

But I won't hide either.

Weeks later…

Aarav used his old contacts — not to build towers…

…but to build schools.

Meera used her needles — not to stitch clothes…

…but to stitch futures.

And the world learned a new lesson:

Not every rich man is powerful.

But every honest man is wealthy.

At night, Meera rested her head on Aarav's shoulder.

Do you miss your empire? she asked.

He smiled.

I live in one now.

She laughed.

And somewhere in the city,

a poor girl learned to sew…

a broken boy learned to hope…

Because a secret billionaire

chose truth

over treasure.
