Draven's lips pulled up, and he laughed as he read it. He didn't think it would be easy getting Luna to want to stay around him, not after the stunt she had pulled the other day at the ball. And he was enjoying having the lamb next to him more than he had ever imagined. Raising his head, he looked at the raven, who continued to glare at him.
"Erebus, this is only how far you're allowed next to her," Draven said, his tone deceptively calm yet laced with an undercurrent of warning. Erebus obviously heard it but chose to ignore the warning in the king's tone. Draven was not done. "This time, I will not let history repeat itself with her. If you cannot agree to this peaceful term, I will be sure to cut you off from me."
