"What? No!" I twisted in shock. "This can't be allowed!"
I didn't remember this being a part of the punishment in all the books I've read. Did Beta Basil decide to sprinkle in this extra seasoning to humiliate me further? Or was this something that his daughter cooked up to ruin my life further?
I looked up and saw Yvette's satisfied smirk. Yep. This was definitely thanks to her. Next to her, Caius had somehow frozen, a faint look of horror on his face.
If this were a day earlier, I would have thought he was feeling upset on my behalf. But his insulting words continued to echo in my head. I bit my lip, upset. He was probably disgusted at the thought of seeing me naked. I tore my eyes away from him and shifted my weight anxiously on my knees.
"Hold still, or I'll cut your skin," Beta Basil warned.
