[CAIUS POV]
'Finally,' Atlas sighed with relief. Suddenly, I understood the reason for his weird behavior. Atlas must have sensed that Iris was my fated mate, but this wolf didn't bother to open his mouth and tell me straight up. He instead huffed and puffed and sulked like a toddler until I found out.
I'll settle this score with him later.
Meanwhile, Atlas was too happy to even take offence at my insults. He let out a low hum of pleasure as he stared down at Iris's sleeping body through my eyes. 'You should mate her.'
'No. I will mate with Yvette,' I retorted fiercely. I would mate Iris over my dead body.
It seemed like Atlas had conveniently forgotten that Iris was my half-sister. Perhaps that was the reason why I had two fated mates — Iris and Yvette — since the Moon Goddess knew there was no way I could consummate a marriage with Iris. My heart calmed slightly when I remembered Yvette.
The Moon Goddess had given me an alternative. I didn't have to accept Iris.
