A sudden thunderous crash snapped Gwen Stacy back to reality.
The monster that had been knocked to the ground climbed back up, lifted a massive steel plate, and hurled it straight at her.
"Damn it—why am I always the one getting hurt?!"
Gwen dodged the attack again, but this time she felt utterly powerless.
ROAR!
Unable to catch her despite its fury, the creature seemed enraged by the constant harassment from these "lowly insects."
The next moment, it leapt through a crack in the laboratory ceiling, jumping dozens of meters into the distance.
"Oh no… it's heading into the city."
Seeing the monster escape, Gwen's heart tightened.
Without hesitation, she jumped out of the laboratory, fired her webs, and gave chase.
One by one, the figures left the laboratory.
Suddenly, a silhouette appeared in the air.
"Tony Stark… Spider-Man? Heh heh…"
Accompanied by a sinister laugh, the figure followed them, vanishing into the distance.
A luxurious Rolls-Royce sped along the road toward the city.
"Cough—Spider-Man… and that man too. They should both die!"
Another mouthful of blood spilled from Obadiah Stane's lips, his eyes burning with hatred.
But for now, survival mattered more than revenge. He could only rush to the hospital as fast as possible.
"Whoa—look at the sky! What's that?!"
"Is that Superman?"
Pedestrians suddenly looked up, pointing at a figure streaking across the sky.
"Oh no… did we attract Superman?"
At that moment, Obadiah felt like he'd walked naked into a bathhouse—only to find it surrounded by special forces.
CLANG!
A red-and-gold armored figure slammed down in front of his car, landing on one knee.
"Whoever you are—die!"
Madness filled Obadiah's face as he floored the accelerator.
BOOM!
The front of the Rolls-Royce caved in instantly.
SPLAT!
His head slammed violently into the airbag.
"You forced my hand."
Dizzy and trembling, Obadiah pulled out a pale-yellow serum and injected it straight into his body.
"I, Obadiah, am no longer human!"
In the next instant, terrifying power surged through him.
Primitive madness flooded his mind.
Chapter 60: Solar Armor — The Golden Superman!
In Antarctica, inside an empty special laboratory.
At the very center stood a star-shaped device radiating blinding light.
Around it, researchers performed final checks. Soon, the artificial star would be miniaturized.
"Superman, all preparations are complete. We can begin the miniaturization experiment."
After a final inspection, Hank Pym spoke calmly to Superman—Peter—standing nearby.
"Then… let's begin."
After hours of preparation, Peter was already eager.
"Everyone, step back. The experiment is about to start!"
Pym was clearly the lead scientist here.
From his bag, he took out two red vials of Pym Particles.
Pym Particles?
All eyes fixed on the glowing red liquid, filled with awe and curiosity.
Since being "abducted" by Peter, they had witnessed several world-shaking technologies.
In barely over a month, Earth itself seemed to have undergone a technological leap.
Even so, the ability to compress molecular distance remained unbelievable.
"I hope my decision is the right one."
Looking at the culmination of his life's work, Pym's gaze hardened.
Without hesitation, he injected the particles into the vibranium structure surrounding the artificial star.
"Activate the energy shield immediately!"
Pym retreated from the center as Reed Richards pressed the shield activation button.
A transparent energy barrier instantly enveloped the artificial star.
They were confident—but cautious. No one wanted to be vaporized except Peter.
Security measures were absolute.
"Everyone… watch closely."
For Pym, having his technology recognized was the greatest honor.
He pressed the miniaturization controller.
Hummm… hummm…
Under everyone's unblinking gaze, the artificial star began to pulse strangely inside the shield.
Like a living heart, it started beating, leaving afterimages in the air.
The pulsation intensified—
Suddenly.
The star vanished.
No—it hadn't disappeared. Its light still flooded the room.
"It… it worked?! This is unbelievable!"
On the floor lay an egg-sized artificial star, still glowing brilliantly.
"It seems we succeeded."
Pym smiled softly.
"Incredible…"
Everyone stared at the tiny "star," afraid it might vanish in the next blink.
"Dr. Pym, thank you for your hard work."
Peter calmly expressed his gratitude.
"By the way… if an artificial star can be shrunk, could a real star be shrunk too?"
"Superman—please don't joke like that!"
Cold sweat broke out on Pym's back.
"Nothing. Just curious."
Peter smiled faintly.
"Well… it's not entirely impossible. If we could build a Dyson Sphere, perhaps—"
"Dyson Sphere?"
Peter murmured the term, committing it to memory.
"You all wait outside. I'll check it myself."
Even after success, accidents were possible.
Peter walked straight through the energy shield—naked, unharmed—and picked up the egg-sized, radiant star from the ground.
"Yes… to grasp the sun and moon,to pluck the stars from the sky."
