"Her name is Skylar, that's all you need to know," Alucard said. Dracula looked from Skylar to Alucard as Trevor and Sypha stepped inside. "This is where your war ends."
"You couldn't stop me before," Dracula said, locking eyes with Alucard.
"I was alone before," Alucard said. Skylar held her sword, ready to attack if need be. Trevor readied his chain whip and sword. Sypha prepared to use a spell. Alucard rushed forward, sword pointed towards his father, thrusting him across the room against the fireplace. Alucard's sword, however, did not pierce Dracula's skin. He held the blade in his clawed fingertips with ease. Dracula pushed against Alucard's sword, taking a few steps towards Alucard as if it weren't his son he was fighting. Then, Dracula let go of the blade, and Alucard made another attempt to strike his father with the sword. Two slashes of his sword, and neither landed a hit. Alucard made a third attempt to land a hit. Dracula caught Alucard's wrist. His other hand raised in a fist and swung down, striking Alucard and sending him into the fireplace. Alucard moved to get up, but hit his head on the stone of the fireplace structure. Skylar, Trevor, and Sypha went to attack, but Dracula was faster and lunged at the three humans. He struck Trevor, taking him out into the hallway, hand on the hunter's throat. Dracula strangled Trevor while pressing him against the wall.
"Alucard!" Skylar rushed to Alucard in the study while Sypha ran out to help Trevor. Skylar helped Alucard up. "You are seeing this through, you swore upon your mother's name you would."
"Yes," Alucard glanced at Skylar, then rushed out with her. "That I did."
