The gang climbed over the metal guard doors of the military base with the help of Mysty's hiking stick, they busted the barbed wire fences and successfully entered the facility. The facility is very large and quite hard to tell where the upgrade station would be.
"Now this is a problem, how are we supposed to find the upgrade station when this whole place is so damn big?"
"Let's just split up."
"This coward better be with someone or he will be crying in a corner because he is lost and don't have a walkie talkie."
"What do you mean by that? "
"Shut up burden, no one asked."
Albur glared at Johnson, having an overwhelming urge of landing his fist onto his metal head.
The gang split up, each heading to a different direction, Wilton on the other hand followed Albur as he doesn't have a walkie talkie, and he would be lost. For better view, Albur opened the flashlight of his watch. The facility seemed damaged but more like abandoned for years, it is hard to tell that it is being invaded and raided.
"The base is surely tough, it have a good shape compared to the other buildings."
"I mean, the walls aren't even broken, we even have to climb into here using the hiking stick."
They walked into the deeper part of the base. The whole place was very quiet, only their footsteps could be heard.
"Any luck? Over."
"Nope, still looking for it. Over."
"I came across bunch of weapons, but most of them are destroyed. Over."
The two humans eventually came across a motor pool. There are many tanks, some of them are destroyed, some of them are not.
"I wish we could get our hands on one of these."
"What is the purpose of using it? The cannonball just penetrates the glitches. "
"At least we could use it as a transport."
"Make sense, but we still can't get into them, they are locked."
"Oh yeah."
"Wait, speaking of this....." Albur suddenly thought of something.
"This is Albur speaking, do you guys found any thing we can use as transportation? Over."
"I'm not seeing anything like a transportation. Over."
"There are jeeps and jets at my place, but they are all destroyed. Over. "
"AWWW SNAP, welp, nevermind then."
"Aw, man."
Albur shrugged. They continued searching for the upgrade station.
Eventually, they reached a room, it is seemingly a training zone. There are many target signs made of metal, which looked like they are used for trainees to improve their aim. They didnt stay long there and continued exploring the facility.
"Come on, why is this place so freaking big? "
Wilton didn't reply, just pressing his watch."
"What you doing? "
"Oh uh, nothing, just trying to look for things."
"At first I thought the satellites that control the mobile data weren't working. But apparently it does."
"Well aparently, military bases are large because they require..."
"You know what, this place isn't really that big, stop yapping, let's just continue."
Wilton shut up.
After a while, the reached another place, its a huge cafeteria like place, broken chairs and tables were seen everywhere.
"Wow, a cafeteria, looks like the one next to Chumps TV station. " said Wilton.
"Wait a second....a cafeteria...which.....means."
Albur rushed to the counter of the cafeteria, he searched everywhere and eventually found a kitchen. He searched and seacrhed in there, although all he found are crushed moldy food scraps. Suddenly, Albur stared into one of the cupboards, his eyes opened wide.
"What? What you've found?"
"Wilton.....look..."
Wilton took a look inside the cupboard, its a bag of potatoes.
"What? Potatoes?"
"Yeah! Do you know what this means?"
"Extra starch?"
Albur stared at him, annoyed.
"Wilton! Its food! Damn are we lucky!"
Albur quickly took out his walkie talkie.
"Attention everyone! I found a bag of potatoes! I repeat! I found a bag of potatoes!"
"What? Really? No way! We have food!"
"Bruh, thought you found the upgrade station."
Albur took the bag of potatoes and put it in the telescopic bag.
"Now this is a very conveniently food source. Its like we are in a novel, and the story doesn't want our journey to stop here due to hunger loss.
"The hell are you talking about. "
"Nothing. But you sure they are still safe to eat? I mean its been days, won't we have diarrhea?"
"Don't complain, food right now is very valuable."
"OK."
They continued to walk.
After a few minutes of walk, they've reached an end of the facility.
"Oh man, looks like we chose the wrong path. "
"Yeah, come on, let's turn around and go find the others."
Albur and Wilton turned around and headed to the place they came.
"Have you guys found the access upgrade station ?"
"I reached the end, still found nothing."
"I'm still walking, this part is deeper i think. Over."
"Johnson where are you? Which path you took again just now? "
"I took the left path, I am with Covie, I think this is the place, there's no other places in this xxxxxx facility. Over. "
"Well then, let's meet at the path where Johnson is now. Over. "
"Alright, over. " Albur kept the walkie talkie.
"C'mon Wil, let's meet with the others. "
Wilton didn't hear him, he is just standing there, looking worried.
"Hey, what's wrong."
"Oh, uh, nothing, I'm.....a little....worried."
"I can see it, why so? "
"Remember you told me there were 3 generals? We just defeated one, and...."
"Don't be a jinx like me, stop yapping, get going." Albur walked to the path Johnson took. Wilton rolled his eyes and followed him.
Along the way, they came across many weapon storage, but like what Johnson said, they were all broken. Further into, they also came across jet ruins and jeep parts all over the ground.
"You know, I sometimes feel like that cyborg is stupid, can't he ask Covie to fix these? "
"But how are we gonna start the jeep? They require keys, like we fixed them, not like how you joined the truck pieces up after they were blasted into pieces atomically. Where are we gonna get the keys? Plus, you know how to pilot a jet? "
"Pretend I didn't ask that."
"Still the same Albur."
".....really, at a time like this? "
"Hehe....."
They continued to walk deeper. But still no sign of seeing the two bots.
"This is Albur speaking, Johnson, Covie, where are you? "
"We're still walking, this place is sure deep. "
"Still no signs of the upgrade station, over."
"Mysty how about you? Are you catching up? "
"I'm at the place full of broken weapons, where are you?"
"Me and Wilton are at the place where there are many jet and jeep ruins."
"Nice! I'll catch up to you two. Over."
"Alright, over."

"Alright this is getting ridiculous now, we've walked for straight 30 minutes! Why are we still not seeing anything?! "
"Hey Albur, why do these walls look alike? "
Albur got what Wilton is tryna say. Indeed the walls look the same.
"This isn't right."
"Albur! Wilton! "
A voice came from behind them, they turned around, and found that its Mysty, she ran towards them, puffing and panting.
"Oh god, why is this facility so freaking big?!"
"Me and Albur have already walked for so long! Yet we are still not reaching anywhere."
"We aren't walking in circles, right? "
"I don't think so, this hall is indeed straight, but the walls are all the same, that's weird...I've been adventuring for years, this is the first time I've seen this kind of thing."
Albur took out his walkie talkie.
"Hey Johnson? Where are you? Why the heck is this path so long?! "
Johnson didn't respond. Only the statics of the walkie talkie could be heard.
Albur quickly pressed the tracking system of the walkie talkie. It shows that Johnson is right in front of them, about 40 meters. The three quickly raced to that spot.
Suddenly, a chair flew towards them, Albur chopped it in half using his axe.
"What the..."
"Uh, guys? " Mysty pointed in front of them. They looked in front. Johnson was standing there, panting, Covie was next to him, also panting.
"Johnson! There you are! Why the hell didn't you reply?! " asked Albur.
Johnson just continued to pant.
"This path.....why is it so long....its like.....endless....."
The gang looked around, not knowing what to do.
"Should we turn around or...continue? " asked Mysty.
"I don't know....."
Suddenly, they heard wind hustling noises, Johnson noticed something is wrong, he quickly snap out of it and got into battle pose.
"Hey, what's wrong? "
Then, they heard scraping noises. They looked at their surrounding. Soon, they noticed, the walls are closing in.
"Wait wait wait, why are the walls closing in? "
"This makes no sense! "
"Master...I'm scared..."
But, just as the walls are about to squish them, they stopped, just an inch away from touching them.
"Wait, what? "
"What phenomenon have I just witnessed. "
But just as the gang was confused. The walls back away, but then close in at them at an insane speed.
