The waves woosh onto the shore of a beach. Many pieces of glitch ship were washed up to the shore, presumably the glitch ships caught in the explosion. Albur opened his eyes, he still feels pain everywhere on his body, he groan as he stood up. He noticed his glasses were shattered, he could barely see without them. He looked around, and found at they are at a beach near a huge facility. He found the gang also washed up onto this beach, he dragged his body to them and tried to wake them up.
After a while, the gang started to wake up, Albur sighed in relief.
"Thank goodness you're all alright. " he said.
Everyone sat up, groaning,
"Wait, where's Covie?" Johnson realised Covie is gone after he woke up. He quickly stood up, dragging his body around the beach, scanning the beach.
"Ow, where are we? " asked Mysty as she stood up.
"I don't know, I couldn't see...."
"Wait, your glasses..."
"Yeah, it shattered....."
"What happened again?"
"Anomaly blasted us with a huge missile. You hurt? "
"No, just, not directly from the missle, its from the shock wave, plus, my goggles are shattered too." Mysty took off her goggles, its lens were cracked.
"As long as you are alright. How about Wil? " Albur looked behind Mysty, where Wilton is sitting.
"Not very good..." groaned Wilton.
Albur sighed, he then looked at Johnson, he seemed to found something, he used his robot claws to dig the sand of the beach. After a while of digging, a pair of propellers can be seen in the sand.
"There you are!" Johnson pulled the propellers out, it is indeed Covie, for some reason, she is buried in the sand. She coughed violently due to the sands getting into her ventilation system. Johnson held her in his arms.
Albur looked at him, still a little mad of him, he cares nothing other than the mission progress, he only focus on killing the enemy and its not even the first time, he had enough with this guy.
"Wait, are we here? The military base?" Mysty looked at the huge facility sitting in front of them.
Johnson heard Mysty he looked around, and opened the map to the Clementine station.
"You've arrived at your destination. Have a nice day."
"We're here..." Johnson stood up.
"By the way, Covie? Are you now free to heal us up?" asked Mysty.
"Oh, rogie, rogie." Covie cleared the sand in her ventilation system, flew back into the air and healed everyone up. Albur wiped off the sand on his glasses before putting them on.
"C'mon, let's get going." said Johnson.
Suddenly, Covie screamed. She looked worried.
"What's wrong? Covie? "
"The food and drinks in the resource box....are all gone...." she muttered.
"Wait what?! " asked Albur.
"We also lost all of the mini hyper gems, only the two big ones are still here....and the life boat....."
Albur groaned as he kicked the sand beneath his feet. Mysty is so shocked she don't know what reaction should she give right now. Johnson is still not reacting, still the same cold face.
"Hey guys...I am thinking of something...." Wilton murmured.
"I...think I will just stay here." he said.
"What? Why? " asked Albur.
"I'm....nothing but a burden. I can't fight, I can't help, I waste your resources, I even need you all to save me....I couldn't even give emotional support.....I really am just nothing but a useless burden...I don't wanna implicate y'all. " said Wilton.
Albur looked at him, in a confused face, Johnson simply grinned behind.
"Exactly what I wanted." Johnson thought to himself.
Albur walked to Wilton, he put his hands onto his shoulder, very hard.
"Look, Wilton, I don't care if you are a burden or not, useful or useless, emotional support or physical support, coward or brave, this or that, I ain't leaving you here alone. Although you can't do this or that or whatever crap, you are still one of the team, the glitch wipeout crew or whatever name they gave us. We are a team, we face challenges together, you can't fight doesn't mean you are useless, maybe its not the right timing for you to shine. You just can't think yourself as a burden, do you hear me? " asked Albur.
Wilton stared at him. Not knowing how to answer.
"Listen, you will now stand up, make up your thoughts and comtinue following us. You can do whatever thing but you AREN'T staying here alone! I won't abandon you right here!"
Wilton frowned, still unable to make up words in his mind.
"Look, you are also someone important in my life, you're my best cameraman! You are also one of the people who dropped one drop of paint in my complete black and white life! "
Wilton was startled,
"I...am someone important to you? "
"If not, who is that guy who always tells me to smile. "
Wilton froze, like the air. His frown slowly turned upright.
"Come on, stop with the whats and buts, hurry up." Albur helped him up.
Still confused, but he no longer blames himself.
"I feel....better now....thanks....." murmured Wilton.
Albur smiled, and patted Wilton's shoulder.
"Still a bit weird for you to say I am a drop of paint in your white world. Its not like your style. " said Wilton.
"Not only you are the drop of paint." Albur turned around and looked at Mysty. She noticed it, and she felt warmth in her heart.
"Come on, let's get going. " said Albur.
Wilton smiled,
The gang begun to walk into the military base, but then, Johnson grabbed Albur and pulled him near him.
"You did not just persuaded him to continue the journey with us..." he murmured.
"Yeah? Why? "
"You could've left him there, he is nothing but a useless cowardly burden."
"Excuse me?! "
"If later that burden made the team unable to complete the mission....I WILL END YOU...." Johnson whispered in an angry tone of voice.
"Are you still a human? " Albur's voice raised.
"I'm a cyborg...."
"Well well well, so you won't need to act like a human because you are a cyborg?!"
"You better shut that xxxxxxxx right now."
Albur and Johnson glared at each other.
"Guys, guys, relax! Stop fighting now. We still have a mission! " Mysty tried to stop the fight of the two of them.
"After I kicked this dude's butt...."
Johnson punched at Albur, Albur quickly dodged it and kicked at him. He dodged it as well. The two of them then drew out their weapons and aimed at each other.
"You will swallow that word back to you within seconds! "
"Oh yeah?! I would like to see you try! "
They kept firing their weapons at each other, going completely crazy.
Mysty couldn't stand it anymore, she pulled out fired her twin pistols at their weapons. Knocking them off their hand.
"Guys! Enough! Stop! " Mysty yelled at the two of them. She then pulled out her taser and shocked the two of them.
"Ow! What was that for?! "
"We were meant to be a team! Stop fighting ! The beef between you two should be settled now! "
Albur and Johnson froze. Mysty lowered her pistols, panting.
"Please....Just settle whatever is going on with the two of you....we are Earth's last hope...."
She then went silent, while slowly walking towards the military base. Wilton and Covie stared at the two of them, not knowing what to say. Albur said nothing, he just gave a anger scoff and slowly walked towards the military base. Johnson tighten his fists, while following behind. Covie grabbed the two hyper gems and the flat life boat left on the shore and put them in her telescopic bag.
